I see the relationship between the first and last panel, and it makes the last panel very heart warming, but I dont get the middle panel about the repenting.
“see the relationship between the first and last panel, and it makes the last panel very heart warming, but I dont get the middle panel about the repenting.”
Well, if you look at the first panel you’ll see the ‘economy is in ruins’ sign, talking about the current situation of the economy. In the second panel, we have a religious doomsayer saying the end is nigh, also referring to the problems in the economy. The last panel is basically saying ’screw the economy, it’s Christmas and we’re going to celebrate it!’
And I wholeheartedly agree. Merry Christmas people!

Thanks for the clarification!
There arent usually curve side preachers where I live.
I gots da stuv, and it was fun. plus, I think we visited family here in town… I know my aunt and uncle, then there were people that I didn’t know that said they knew me when I was a baby… so I’ll consider them family… I guess…
If you look real close at the second panel, at the sign he holds, it’s an eagle. Global warming and all that, endangered animals (Woo has some worries too!)
You know, it’s really late for this, but I’d like to mention:
“Repent, for their end is near!” sounds like it should be “the”, instead of “their”. “Repent, for the end is near!” I dunno if this was a mistake or I’m missing a gag, but whatevs.
And yes, very heart-warming and great comic overall.

I can see an eagle flying right to left, or a polar bear running left to right.
