D.C. Simpson, the creator of Ozy and Millie, totally should have drawn a comic in which Jeremy gets stuffed into a trashcan instead of Ozy. So this strip is probably more relevant to avid readers of Ozy and Millie, but I think the twist to the usual routine of school bullying also stands on its own.

I caught the humor, especially liked the missing shoe and banana peel.
The mop was a nice touch as well.
And that he’s name comes from the main character of Final Fantasy (which makes him super cool
). Also, this is the first “bad” word I’ve seen in the comic, hehe
does this deliciously smell like a tribute to OZY & MILLIE?
Yes, see the updated strip description.
lol Ozy & Millie is brilliant, good to see a tribute done to them like this ^^
Only started reading “Sandra and Woo” first about a month ago and have not decided to comment till now. But can I just say both writer and cartoonist here are making awesome strip’s, this has been on my fave’s for about… well a month, loved this strip as much as the other ones, great work!
…and that’s why there are no short, skinny bullies.
@Lax
Not quite. See: http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2009/02/12/0033-russian-revenge/
The ownage is strong in this one.Where was Cloud when I was younger D: ? Right,he was just born.
Nah… I don’t think D.C. should have done that. Its so against Ozy’s nature, and indeed the nature of the strip.
I don’t mind you doing it for D.C. though.
aye but the point of ozy is that he defeats him with zen mastery!
a.k.a-it would be nice to see jeramy pacified to the point of immobility by his amzeing zen aura…..Dear ozy we admire the courage of your mindless optimisum!
Nah, the bullying in Ozy and Millie is about how elementary school is, not how we wish it would be. I remember one strip in which Millie dreams that Jeremy would get his comeuppance, but he gets an award for athletic excellence at recess or something… I kinda think that the point of Jeremy is that life’s not fair.
I’m thinking Cloud looks a lot like Shindo Hikaru from Hikaru no Go.
Woah, that kid getting beat up in the first panel looks like me… wish Cloud had gone to my secondary school…
Darn those kids who need to bully others to maintain their masculinity.
So I suppose he “Mopped” The floor with him, judging by the last panel X3 This comic is so cute!
w00t!!!!! go Cloud kikk this bullies arseXD
niice one, dudeXD@ anonymoose:
[...] writer Oliver Knörzer hasn’t attributed any comics with inspiring SW’s creation (though he does present a shout-out to Ozy and Millie in an early strip), the comic does share some similarities with these earlier [...]
That’s what you get when you mess with Jeff Andonuts.
Soooo, Cloud is OP even without the weapon :I
First a reference to Calvin and Hobbes, now one to Ozy and Millie… I think I’m going to like this archive binge.
@ Tara Li:
yes he does!
onl he is cuter and awesomer
I don’t like the word “idiot”; it’s hurtful in all languages. When I enter that word in text in GT5 (Gran Turismo 5) chat (or its other forms), it always ends up being censored, regardless of the language in which I say it.
Cloud seems kinda like Batman. He`s fights to defend those who cannot defend themselves, he fights to make a major difference in Gotham (or, in this case, in the school, and Burma), and even though he`s just one man, he never surrenders. Earth needs more people like that.
I’m hearing that music that plays at the end of a battle in FFVII.
You know the one.
