The current story arc started with this strip: Summer by the Lakeside.
After playing around with the panel layout in previous strips like You’ve Got Mail and 10:27:42, it was time for another innovative approach and try a first person view (of Tanya Dean). I am very happy with the way this turned out.
- Tanya Dean: The chicken sandwich is delicious, isn’t it?

The hunter becomes the hunted! Always good to see that!
Now if we armed all of our wildlife with high powered dart rifles, that would make things interesting… and more than a little dangerous. More reason to never leave the house (like I need more reasons)

Somewhere in my game library is Deer Avenger 3…or perhaps it was 4. Not much else out there, ’cause I never got “John ‘Deer’ Rambo” past the prototype stage for the original PlayStation hardware.

Oh-hoh! It’ll be very interesting to see where this goes. I like that fade-out / eye closing effect and the mood of panel 5. ^^

Besides… Nobody thinks Sandra’s dad was the one to buy the rifle / ammo? We’ve already seen him stuff a cruel pet owner in a cage.

Another option would have been to wait for the trapper to return to check the traps. Regulations require the traps to be checked daily and that they be tagged with the trapper’s name and other information. Woo’s rifle looks competition grade. An RWS or a Hammerli?

Hahaha…. I think as C. Nostra Humane Pest Control are involved, they are going to be trapped, then released into the wild somewhere a long way off?

My guess is that all the forest animals that fell victim to Tanya’s evil traps will finally be able to have their beautiful revenge against Tanya HELL YESSS can’t wait to see her face in pure terror when she wakes up oh darn!
I wonder what Woo and the other animals have in mind in punishing that sorry pitful human being: like, being hanged upside down and lowered into a hot boiling pot, tickled silly to death, spraying a can of whip cream at her face while tied to a tree, ah man the possibilties are endless! lol
