Commander Kitty and Gill

Commander Kitty

You’re wrong, Commander Kitty, the start of your comic has not just been “good” but “truly great”.

Have you visited Commander Kitty yet?

And if not… WHY NOT!?

Seriously, there is no excuse for not reading Commander Kitty by Scotty Arsenault and Brian Reynolds, the humorous story of a feline space ranger on a dangerous mission. I’m already hooked on the story which somehow manages to be exciting and still deliver a joke on nearly every page. When you read the comic you’ll immediately get the feeling that a lot of thought went into the world and character design.

And there’s EVEN MORE great news for comic enthusiasts:

Norm Feuti’s Gill, which is undoubtedly among the best classical comic strips out there, is back from its three month long hiatus!

I started reading this webcomic a month ago, I wish I had read the first Commander Kitty :(

Whoah, I remember reading this years ago, before it fizzled out like most of the webcomics that I read. I didn’t know it had started up again!

Um, maybe I’d like CK better if I’d read the original series. As it is, I just read thru the available archive and found it so-so.

I myself have not read the original series which does not seem to be online anywhere.

Of course you’re allowed to not like it, but just as well I’m allowed to be enthusiastic about it and plug it like that on my website.

Yeah, someone needs to find the original, I’ve been wanting to pull it out and mess with it…

if that’s “you”, Scotty … did the entire thing vanish in a puff of data, then?
I too did the surprisingly brief archive trawl on what’s currently online and found it quite interesting (I’ll probably keep up for at least a few days just to find out what happens to Nin Wa) but was also left hungry for the backstory as to why these characters are in such positions. Unless that’s to be revealed later and this is one of those dramatic dropping-you-in-it beginnings ;)

ah … and maybe what I’d also meant to point out … check out the rest of his site’s offerings, he seems to be quite the accomplished artist and animator!

tahrey> No, I am not Scotty Arsenault, just someone who followed the original for its last few years. XD
