No book, no merch

I have removed the links to our Zazzle shop and the first book “The Woo” published by Lulu from our website. We have sold a few pieces of merchandising and a handful of books, but overall sales were very disappointing regarding the amount of time that we have spent. Since there has been no interest in those items during the last weeks, I think those prominent links on our website gave the false impression that we’re actually making money that way.

Maybe we will re-relase an extended version of “The Woo”, including all new strips that will be published this year, at the end of the year.

Well, considering this is kind of an indie comic, probably selling large volumes right away is not something to be expected. It’s really sad.
But I think you should keep the links, so as more people discover it, some will want to show support.

My excuse is the long-a*s shopping list of school supplies, that kept my mind completely occupied. So I had placed The Woo and some other books on the back of my mind until now – I’m ordering me copy.

At first, I was sad because I though you had taken the products off the market, but now I realize it is just the links. I agree with Mort, you should keep the links up, how will people know your selling if you don’t? As for me, I am going to buy a book as soon as I can. I’ll even buy the extended version when you make it :) .

I got a book for Christmas, but that’s about it. I don’t buy t-shirts as much anymore since I can’t afford it all too well.
