The current story arc started with this strip: Unfavorable Comparison.
Combining my two favorite subjects, food and love, in one strip. Yay.
We’re still looking for guest artists, by the way.
- Woo: Huh?
- Lily: Your messed up introduction was kinda cute… until you simply walked away. You think I’m picking a mate by the quality of his pick-up line?!
- Lily: But I’m giving you one last chance, Woo. Come on, show me what you’ve got!
- Woo: !
- Lily: !?
- Woo: Lily, may I invite you to dinner?

“Oh, Woo. Maybe she’s into “cute and slightly pathetic”?
I think I hit the nail on the head, and he’s made a swinging comeback. Cute, slightly pathetic and lacking on certain fronts, but certainly not incompetent.

1. The expression on Lily’s face is the equivilant of jewelryface (look up target women on youtube). 2. The sketch of Lily and Woo that was featured on your extra’s page is awesome. You should make it into a card for next yr. 3. Your RSS is slow, what gives?

That makes me feel like my effort at the beach for a girl I just met is nul and void.
I randomly reahed into a rockpool and retrieved a big fresh mud crab.
Fish are even harder to catch! Woo you show-off!

What gets me a little bit is that Woo can manage for free what would cost for any of the rest of us… XD

I am genuinely interested to see how a Woo/Lily dynamic could interact with the other character dynamics already established. Sandra/Woo, Woo/Shadow, Sandra/Cloud, Sandra/Larissa, Sandra/Her Father.
There is potential here. Palace intrigue follows, I hope.

Yes, Woo, show her your moves! \o/
I wonder if this storyline will influence the comic’s future. I’ll just sit and wait(and probably be amused
).

That a boy WOO! Thats how to do it!
He must of had a heck of a time catching that fish with his paws, what a way to impress the young lady.
I’ve watched the local Racoons fish for their dinner at the creek behind my house and their quite good at it but they’ve never caught one that big. Way to go Woo! ^_^

I have also seen Raccoons work the shallow waters, but for crawfish. First dinner–then entertainment?

Epic win, Woo!!! Way to take the second chance and blow her away! I like how she is “insulted” by Woo assuming she is shallow. I hope she become a regular character, I’m loving her personality.

Great comic!
as always, it’s great. Good to see Woo “wooing” the ladies
(feel free to shoot me for the terrible “pun”
)
Also, just thought I’d let whoever is in control of the site know that the guest artist link doesn’t work. It seems to have “hhttp” instead of “http”. I’m not sure if this is my lack of internet knowledge or not, but I thought I’d point it out

Now that’s what I call Bringing It!
I think what impresses me most of all about Woo’s performance is how, if you’ll pardon the expression, *instinctive* it is. One of the things that is being established over the course of this comic is, “How much is Woo still a wild animal and how much has he been spoiled for life in the wild by living with Sandra?” Now we know that when the chips are down, Woo still has what it takes to get it done with no easy access to a fridge… and he doesn’t even take time to worry about whether he can do it or not. Way to go, Woo!

Lily really knows what she wants. She seems really classy too; her “no, wait!” stance in the last panel of the last comic reminded me of an old holywood film. These two should make a fun couple to watch!

“[...] show me what you’ve got!”
Apparently, he ‘got’ a fish, big enough for a full-grown grizzly bear!!!
Now, that’s impressive!
Catching this thing bare handed and in this time also speaks for woos ‘epic dexterity’
And to make it an even more obvious D&D refference:
He sure rules at ‘Survival checks’ made to gather food

I think I like it where this is going. XD
I’d say over the fact that the 145 eps I read in the last few hours and I wasn’t bored for one minute would mean that you guys are great and I don know if you are the writer/artist or somethin else cuz I’m not good in these things yet but they look great and the story is nice so keep it up, just as I said on the first ep.

Has anyone here mentioned how wonderful the backgrounds are to this comic? No? Because they’re amazing, especially whenever the comic is about Woo.
Raccoons are a very adaptable animal species. They just make the most out of every situation.

It seems like I’ve seen or heard of another cartoon animal who was also equally adept at wild and domesticated living, but for the life of me I can’t recall any names or even comics.
Regardless, it is, at the very least, a rare trait in non-anthropomorphic cartoon animals.
On the subject of adaptability, I still laugh at the Tweety incident.

Remember, guys– diving into a river and coming back dripping wet with a fish almost as big as you is the best way to get girls.
Actually… that’s not too bad, really.
