The current story arc started with this strip: Unfavorable Comparison.
Considering their super-sensitive paws I thought rubbing their paws against each other would be a neat raccoon equivalent for kissing.
Whew, it’s been quite some time since we’ve last seen the squirrel Sid in the strip Caught off Guard.
Looks like Larisa is currently engaged in her second and third favorite amusements at the same time, smooching with pretty eyed boys and drawing. Her most favorite one would probably be lighting a giant bonfire and than dancing around it.

accually at first I thought it was even worse then you thought. I got on yesterday and saw the new format and instantly thought of a former friend of mine’s idea of an april fools day joke was doing something like that and while you watch the youtube video your computer was busy uploading virus after virus. as you can guess the amount of time on the site was counted in seconds so I didn’t get to read how bad the site was.
so I’m greatly pleased to hear that novil was the one pulling tails rather then someone else with a much shall we say darker sence of humor.
(sigh) Move over, Sid.
You’re not alone Sid. But don’t worry, we will all find love some day, just wait.

Hey little guy don’t fret being a member of the “One is the loneliest number club” doesn’t last forever,, hey was a card carrying member for years, then suddenly out of nowhere bang! she smacked into the back end of my truck and we settled the for a dinner date instead of going to the insurance company. Its been 6 years and going strong.. ^_^
So chin up old boy there’s lots of lady squirrels out there in that forest and a guy who has a Fox for a friend with a mate is a nice thing to have knowing there is a few friendly foxes out there that won’t be trying to eat you. ^_^ (I guess you can add Woo & Lily to the friends list now)

whew, Sid is okay. That’s a load off my mind.:)
I am afraid I will be the Sid in every group, only I don’t mope about it. Anyway, I feel quite sad for him. Maybe he should look up that lady squirrel from Disney’s “The Sword in the Stone”, always felt sad for her too.
IIRC, Shadow was a poppa before this installment. I think the tune playing on behalf of Sid should be “Wedding Bells Are Breaking Up That Old Gand of Mine.”
In my opinion that is one of the saddest moment in movie-history
