Future supervillain in training…
Sandra and Woo was down for several hours this morning since our webhost was moving the data of all their customers to other servers.
- Teacher: Zoey, do you have an excuse for not doing your homework?
- Zoey: I… … I… ate it.
- Zoey: That’s not funny! Larisa put it in a blender and made me eat the mash!
- Larisa: You’re the worst liar ever, Zoey!
|
wow, my bullies didn’t even do that……
I LOVE IT.
Homework Milkshake Recipe:
Take two cups of milk, one scoop of chocolate ice cream, and one snotty girl’s homework assignment. Place in blender, put on mix for one minute, then feed to said snotty girl.
Larisa always comes up with the best plans.
if i am human in my next life ill be sure to try that
Yep good to see Larisa and her attitude again. X3
BTW don know why but the teachers mouth doesn’ look so right, sorry I just don’ know…
… Ya know when I see Larisa with that grin on her face I may just wanna knock her on the skull a bit. XD
The only reason I don’t believe you’re a villain, Larissa, is because I haven’t seen just how nasty Zoey is. And even then, I’d be asking if that was really neccesary.
I can see where that would be a tough story to swallow…
Apparently the cold snap wasn’t punishment enough. That’s the trouble with anonymous revenge; if they don’t know who did it, they don’t know what they did to deserve it.
Still, Larisa should be more careful; there’s evidence sticking out of her backpack…
@Gaboris: I’d imagine it’s tough to show a teacher’s mouth open to indicate he’s talking when his back is to us. Hence the “Muppet Mouth”, where the mouth opening extends all the way to the hinge.
I`m not surprised she did it.I wont be surprised if Sandra reprimands her after class either. haha
I have got to do this some day.
Larisa, I’m disappointed in you! Half the point of forcing someone to eat something is watching them force themselves to chew it! Mushing it up first takes away all the fun!
omfg… I had a dream of this exact panel with the exact same advertisements and every thing last night. -shocked- I can’t tell if I should be impressed with myself or freaked out…
one of my favorite strips btw! <3
Ow, please don’t write Larissa as that, I know she’s crazy and a teaser, but being a bully ain’t fun at all. Makes me like the character less. =/
The bullying is quite two-sided between her and Zoey and Michelle (we’ll see that later) so it ain’t that bad.
Also, Larisa occasionally needs to get some points for “evil” behavior so that she she can also get some points for “good” behavior and stay “chaotic neutral”. 😉(Deleted the sentence because some people take even sentences with a 😉 behind it way too serious.) Seriously, I think there are many writers who fail to write a “chaotic neutral” character because they never let them do anything fun which would be generally considered as “evil”. Larisa is not meant to be a character all people can identify with, she’s as far away from a positive role model for girls as you can get.I’m glad you said that. I’m very glad you said that.
But I’m afraid I can’t see the funny side, until I see what Zoey did to deserve that
I wonder how Larisa made Zoey eat it.. probably by telling that she’ll get good grade if she did it.
My 3rd grade teacher always joke like that everytime a kid ask the easiest way to pass the test. ;D
This is the second-best homework excuse I’ve ever heard.
The best was, “My brother sat on it, farted, and it disintegrated”.
Wow… She even kept the mechanism of destruction. Larisa is dangerous even without matches.
Kids find odd ways to get their fiber…
Larisa at its best, and it doesn’t even involve fire! =D
I think Zoey needs some fleshing out in order to really deserve that, or I’ll start feeling bad for her, instead of joining Larisa in the fun.
There is a plug hanging out of the (lunch?) bag that is shown as important.
I wonder why.
I’m liking Larisa more and more, I can almost forgive her for comming in between Cloud and Sandra a few strips back
😀 man, yall say some of the craziest stuff in here.
telling the truth though, I didn’t need to see the plug hanging out of the backpack to know that Zoey was telling the truth.
And really, judging from the way she’s behaved every time she’s been on screen I’m pretty sure Zoey did something to deserve it.
Hmm, pulped homework. Two days worth of fiber with every assignment.
I guess Larisa is what Randall Munroe calls a “classhole.”
@Novil
I was shocked when the site was down this morning! O_O’
… Now I can finally make my comment…
Back to the strip:
Commercial:
Larisa: “New: Homework-cereals! They taste just like real cardboard!
Get your’s today or burst into flames!!!
… MWAHAHAHAHAAAHAA!”
Larisa: … *wink*
Sandra:“… stop that…” >.>
Evidence? *takes a deep breath*
OBJECTION! *points with index-finger*
PS: Yes, I’m slightly psyched o,o’
Why would Larisa bring a blender to class? Still, this is very good ^^!
…… it feels awkward to post any comments to this, not because of the bullying scenario, but because she ate her homework… I’ve used it as an excuse before, and the teacher watched me eat it… it was in retaliation for not letting me eat the apple I packed while he was teaching, he’d never had a problem with it before, it didn’t interrupt the class, and I needed to eat something or I couldn’t concentrate on what he was teaching >.>…
the conversation prior to, and obvious result of it, got allot of laughs in that math class for a long while…
And here I was getting worried that Larisa was going good on us. Phew!
What I love is Sandra’s reaction
Larisa’s next recipe: Homework waffles!
btw, isn’t “I ate it” a valid excuse for failing to turn in Applied Nutrition homework?
@DanialArin: Yer right thx for your thoughts. 😉
So your work is still great man. 😉
What did Zoey do to deserve this? Larisa just comes across as mean-spirited. I _hope_ she gets her comeuppance in the next strips.
Is this the beginning of a new story arc about (not) lying? The last strip was also about telling lies…
I’m sure Larisa forced her to eat it either by physical strength or under threat of something worse, like a beating or swirly or some other boy-type bullying mechanism. And we’ve seen a number of hints over the last couple years that this particular girl and her friend are viciously insulting, not only to Larisa, but to Sandra as well. This is not Larisa’s first act of revenge against this one, and from what we’ve seen over time, these two girls have a long history of maligning and mistreating Larisa and Sandra, and probably a number of other girls as well.
I’ve used that excuse before. Course it was for Foods class and I was making lasagna. I just couldn’t help myself…
“Sandra and Woo was down for several hours this morning since our webhost was moving the data of all their customers to other servers.”
———————————————
so thats what was going on, i thought it was a problem with my computer and thinking i’d have to get out my big stone axe to fix it.
Ok, now I see.
The plug is the plug to the blender.
So, no lie from one and a lie from the other.
It took me a while.
*shivers* I hope no one at my school reads this comic or I’ll be a primary target >.> <..<
Awww, that just seems mean. 🙁 Larisa better have a really good excuse!!
it happend to some jerk at my school the same day he’s got suspended for having sex in the hallway
Ah, the old homework milkshake. =] Brings back memories
Despite all the comments saying Larissa is being mean, i thought this strip was perfectly in character, not to mention being comic GOLD!
What’s really funny here is that Larissa isn’t even lying. She just said “You’re the worst liar ever, Zoey!” If she had said “No I didn’t,” it would be an entirely different situation.
Love the blender cord in the backpack. I LOLed at that one.
wow of all the things i did to other kids i never did that i’m so teaching my kids that trick ^_^ i must say thank you for the idea
I could hit myself for not making this stupid anime-related joke before:
“I’ll take my homework… AND EAT IT!
I think Larisa is just mean in everything she do, like flirting with Cloud.
Any ways I hope we dont fall in the “moral realm”, of course Bullying this bad could conduct to suicide or other stupid things that the kids are doing, but what the hell I was bullied and I am fine.
PD: on the subject, face the bullies, and if that doesnt scare them away then fight dirty (I used a table…) but you probably would be mistaken and sent to the principal
Damn…
Just need to get this off my chest.
“Chaotic neutral” is utter BS. All it is a code name for a karma Houdini. I can’t help it I loth Larisa at these moments, now I’m not expecting you to change any thing for me or anyone else, it’s just that this sort of stuff really gets to me, I’ve had some very bad experience with these sort of “neutral” people so seeing such a character, and seeing them never suffering the consequence hits a very raw nerve. Basically this post is my catharsis because strips starring Larisa give me any.
There I feel better.
Another source of dietary fiber!
Uhmm The Chaotic Neutral Karma Houdini is the more recent interpretation of the alligniment in D&D [More or less from 3.5 Edition IIRC] Before that… it was the crazy one and one of the most difficult to correctly portray… and even more difficult to manage surviving with.
Obviously it is up to the DM to enforce the correct consequence on the character, but that is an issue of the DM.
