- Sandra: You… you think that Larisa is prettier than me?
- Cloud: Come on, I’m not going to give my best friends a graphics rating!
- Sandra: But what about other girls? Do you think Zoey is prettier than me?
- Cloud: Okay, now you’re getting weird. Do you want me to look at Zoey and think: “Hey, Zoey is 7% prettier than Sandra, gotta ditch her!”
- Cloud: You’re pretty, you’re clever, and it’s always lots of fun when you’re around. There’s no other girl I’d rather be with, okay?
- WALL-E: Eeeee… va.
- Cloud: Yes Cloud, a little lie would have hurt.

Yay for truth! I am a little sorry that Sandra is insecure, but what do I know? That could simply be a normal feeling for girls.
Long time lurker, first time commenter. Major kudos on an awesome comic, both art and storyline are a real credit.
As for Clouds graceful comeback, I wonder if he’ll think the same in a year or two when puberty hits and he starts thinking with the ‘other’ head…
(one hopes he does, Larissa need someone a bit more aggressive to bounce off, in my opinion.)
After consulting with my psychiatric and the Marcois de Sade, 12 to 16 years old is when puberty hit.
Even on one chapter of Justin a character have a school where the children were dismissed at 16 and never allowed to enter before 12.
So in medical termns and in sadistic perversion terms thats it, however the puberty can prolong after 16 or even start at 15, However psicologically a 10 year old can experimentate simulations of love (99% love) when the libido ennters as a factor (12 minimun we ll say) then a relatonship can fully develops, It doesnt mean in a sexual way but in a psicological way.
Of course feelings have no age, but some can only be fully develop in certains stages of life. But if Cloud and Tif… I mean Sandra are 99% in love or 100% in love thats doesnt care, To hell with graphics it doesnt make any sense.
This is my manifesto about child relatioships, and I hope I helped any one too “scrupolous” to understand the characters relationship better.

Sandra is good at shooting loaded questions.

I don’t know, I had a crush on my best male friend when we were 11, while he had a girlfriend (but made her jealous with me!). Lots of drama going on all the time haha. I remember quite well because I’m still not 20… of course it wasn’t strictly hormonal, but kids start these things since quite young. Same with my sister, she had her first kiss when she was about 12 in a spin-the-bottle game.

i had my “first love” in kindergarten.or first grade. her name was dorothy, she wore a purple velvet skirt and a frilly white blouse. i didn’t know what to say or do about it then of course, but she was pretty and sweet and i liked her. that was many, many years ago, i’ve learned quite a bit about love since, from a very good teacher.
I want to be like Cloud is ALWAYS.
