Well… it’s not that easy. Let me explain: *takes a deep breath*
Once upon a time, I think it’s been 3 Years now, a classmate gave me a small list:
Animegesetze (in english: “rules of anime”)
(Yes, my list is in german, I’m german after all o,ô )
He said he made it with some friends a long time ago. (liar >,>)
With his allowance I started modifying and completing it…
much much MUCH later… I found out that the list was actually an english list!
and that it is copyright protected >,>’
Well, It seems that I’m the only one who really cares about that fact since there are quite a few slightly different lists on the web.
(I think I just broke the english language, didn’t I? can’t find the mistake but it sounds wrong…)
I still think that (of course) my list is better, and at times I’m still working on it.
But I’m not spreading it due to this copyright issue…
Also, If I’d post it here:

There’s absolutely nothing sexual going on in this strip so this comment is very strange. Would you also say that Sally Brown, who is much younger, is oversexed because she has a massive crush on Linus.

The line for Sandra and Woo is what Powree, a believing Muslim woman, still feels comfortable to draw. If she does not have a problem with something, nobody should.
Your rant is quite bizarre overall. It’s pretty normal for a 4th or 5th grader to have a first crush, and if they both like each other there’s nothing wrong with going out to the cinema together or giving each other a kiss. This happens all the time, all over the planet. I have no idea what this has to do with “handing out condoms to 3rd graders”, the relation is completely mind-boggling.
The characters in Sandra and Woo are 11 years old and not 8 – 10, by the way. The manga style makes them look somewhat younger, though.

I’m 21 and don’t have any major experiences despite not looking bad,

IT’S A COMIC, c.) it’s not like they were attempting any crazy wild upside-down-sex-with-a-plastic-Buster-Sword-replica, and d.) any kid with the attention span to be reading this is intelligent enough to know where the line is and when in their life to cross it, no?

I think I speak for half the site when I say:
Please be an uptight idiot somewhere else.
Caring about how they look is normal at that age especially when you have a crush what is also normal at that age.
What you say about oversexed society is right, but has absolutly nothing to do with this webcomic.
No one is wearing high heels or miniskirts or something like that and no one is rouged either.
It’s a “first kiss”-situation. Just look how embarrassed Sandra is now that they have “guests”.
Cloud has a red face, too.
How on earth and all adjacent planes are you able to connect this scene with actual sexuality anyway?
It sure is part of what is defined as “sexuality”
but I’m also sure that no one of them is thinking about anything that would have to do with “reproduction”.

I think this a cute little scene. Overall I think it’s the comments that got out of hand. It is just a comic after all, learn to enjoy it. I sure did because I can see the humor in the situation, probably like many of the readers did. So just kick back, relax, and enjoy the story.
When the arc began, I had thought that Sandra and Cloud were watching the movie on an afternoon, when they would have the living-room (it looks that way) to themselves. But why would Yuna be in bed then? (Maybe she’s sick?)
Then I assumed they started watching the movie after dinner (that would mean a sleepover), and everyone else moved out of the living-room during the runtime of WALL-E.
If it was morning, Yuna in bed would also not make sense if Cloud and Sandra had been up for 2+ hours.
They could also have watched the movie interrupted by dinner, so it would not be too late for Sandra to go home or get driven home by Ye Thuza or Richard.
Or they didn’t watch the full movie since they already know it and just watched the best parts of it.
I’m confused.

You know, I said Wall-E didnt add nothing to the strip.But while that might be true Wall-E is also my favorite movie from pixar ever, so the line “pizza plants” almost made me cry.
How they dare to kiss in that part! LOL remember that Seinfeld episode when Jerry was making out with his girlfrien in the midle of schindler´s list and every one (his parents and his girlfrien´s parents) were mad at them (they were all jewish).
And I posted a sort of essay in the last strip about that forbidden topic, but as usually when you speak pasive and considerated nobody lisent.
And Sandra+Pillow was FTW, And are those big rectangles in both sidesof the screen their surround sistem? cause together with the big LCD TV made me think in all that money that Ye Thuza stol… I mean found
She didn’t steal anything… she found the jewels, returned them, got a reward, and divided it up between her and the search party.
I think the innocence of all characters, including Larisa, is well established. Anything that looks otherwise is just teasing, or big talk, or a misunderstanding. (I thought Novil wanted to tease us with a completely innocent situation looking otherwise. Guess I was wrong, and it was a completely innocent situation meant to look completely innocent)
One possible explanation is that Sandra’s dad had to work longer and since he doesn’t want her to be alone he asked her to go over to Cloud, who is living just a few houses away, until he’s home. If they started watching the movie at 19:00 with a short break it’s 20:45 now which is 15 minutes past Yuna’s bedtime, for example.
That’s certainly a possible and probable explanation. (I’m not trying to read bad stuff into the comic. Even when I spoke about a sleepover, it would still have been the innocent variety, because the kids are innocent. If they weren’t – except for occasional teasing by Larisa – the comic wouldn’t be as much fun anymore)
In your example, Richard would be “can you look at this for 5 minutes?” late (which takes 1 to 3 hours), and not “we only need to finish this part” late (which can take past midnight occasionally). In the latter case Richard would probably arranged for a sleepover at Larisa’s.
Grrr, I hate when cartoon kissing scenes are interupted! >:(

Kind of an odd question: would this comic have generated more comments as it is, or would there be more comments if Sandra and Cloud actually kissed?
Optimistic version: the comments would have certainly been different, and there would have been more speculation about the future of Sandra and Clouds relationship.
Pessimistic version: Fewer comments, because there would have been so many perverted comments that Novil had to close down commenting completely.

Huh…I guess I’m the only person who pictures Tifa on the bottom half of the mine tracks in Corel jumping up and down shouting “Go, Cloud, go!” as he makes his way to the control box.
Regardless, both the comic and the memory it brought back made me smile. Hang in there, Cloud! The rules of anime state you have to remain frustrated until you save Sandra from certain danger. Then and only then can you have that first kiss (at the worst time possible).
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand…. the kid sister’s name is Yuna. I feel I should’ve seen that coming. ^_^
