The current story arc started with this strip: Woo Has a Glue.
- A raccoon losing the fur on his ringed tail = a 26 years old man going bald
- A raccoon losing its facial mask = a 16 years old girl going bald 😉
- Woo: ?
- Woo: AAAAAH!
- Woo: AAAAAAAAAAHH!!
- Sandra: It was just a bad dream, Woo. Everything is alright.

Poor Woo!
I know your pain little buddy.
Hey I’m the first comment!! WOO HOO !!!!! ^_^
Wow the 2nd panel looks really bad. No wonder Woo screamed so loud. Like end of the world.
Wait – are the other raccoons in the first panel ones Woo has seen previously? I think I recognize Lily… but the other two I forget their names.
I would not hug him, sandra – think of the time you will spend brushing the fur off.
Great update, very funny panels. Nice to see such ark after the hair-raising (heh) tale that shed (heh) a light over Larisa.
Tibor with top hat and cane = sheer awesomeness.
I’ll be here hoping it’ll all turn all right for the little fellow.
I only have one question, what in the world was Woo dreaming about prior to the nightmarish part that involved his girlfriend and her family wearing fancy dinner attire in a raccoon sized mansion?
Must have been one interesting dream!
You know something, you kind of feel that this is reconnecting Woo to how he started out in the comic as a character, which is very cool to see. I enjoy this.
Ok… Maybe I wasn’t that way off with my “midlife crisis”-theory…
But still, Woo is too young for that… but at the other hand that fact will not damp his panic at all >,>
Poor Woo.
Also “d’awwwww…” for last Pannel 😛
I’m very curious for the reason for the loss of hair.
… There is a concrete reason, right?
It’s not just that he doesn’t know about fur change or something… right?? ?_?
@gamerjoel135
I think that’s just for making the whole hair loss situation even worse.
(In his head. It’s a nightmare after all…)
If your hair would suddenly fell out would you be more comfortable beeing alone with that or in public or even in “high society” plus your GF and her father looking so everyone can see it happening?
In most cases (at least in fiction. I don’t really know about the real thing XD’) a nightmare shows the worst scenario possible (or the worst you can imagine) so the actual outcome seems not that bad, even if it is quite bad…
Umm I dong get the second panel. Help me out here.
Aaaaaw, poor Woo.
With any luck, it will turn out to be just a vitamin deficiency caused by Woo eating a bit too much Human food, or something else easily fixed.
— merge of double post —
And second panel is a dream-view of Woo’s tail with huge chunks of fur missing. Talk about a raccoon nightmare!
Wow, that vet visit can’t come soon enough. I bet Woo will actually be looking forward to this trip. The last panel makes me think of a mother comforting her child after a nightmare. It must not be too different in this situation. (BTW: the last raccoon with the curl makes me think of the raccoon in the strip “Weird Animals”.)
This is akin to those nightmares about losing your teeth! I HATE those!!!
Sandra is the who-knows-what-number girl to make my “Hey, I’ve never seen your hair down before. It’s pretty that way.” list.
Ah, now I get it. Thanks.
Isn’t appearance sometimes a very big deal for us?
That was what Sandra started to understand last time, methinks. Looking forward to see how this continues.
Not gonna lie. As a 23 year old, I’m slightly offended by that. I’m actually not bothered by the fact I’m going bald. Hasn’t stopped me 😉
Guys its a Batman dream -_-
Dang… hope Woo doesn’t have Mange?
I stand by what I said yesterday! -Big Cuddles- for Woo in the last panel! x
There-there Woo I bet the dear author would never want somethin bad to happen to you, perhaps it’s just a periode. I sure hope at least, waitin for the next strip, keep it up. 😉
Man I have to thank David Hopkins for posting that add about this website cause I love it so far
Sandra and Woo banners are on other webcomic sites because I pay for the advertising space. So there is no reason to thank other webmasters for it.
Now I’m thinking about the movie “Clue”, but with the cast of animals from Sandra and Woo :3 That would be an awesome lineup.
Haha, that’s actually the same place I got it from.
If it weren’t for that comic, I wouldn’t have found this one either.
Well, you got yourself another reader! *THIS* is why I love Project Wonderful ads, because those ads actually take me to sites I actually *WANT* to see, instead of just 100 scams! 😀
AWWWWWW!!! 🙁
Poor Woo man… and Sandra…
*sigh* saynomore, I love this comic with all I have, if I need a little bit of the ol’ “make my mind fly above all the gritty adult thingies”, I only need to come here for a while.
Woo needs to get better… hey, just wondering, is any other character ever going to have a pet?
I think found the ad for this comic on Bittersweet Candybowl, but I might be delusional. Yeah, probably that… 😉
“A raccoon losing the fur on his ringed tail = a 26 years old man going bald”
Hey, I am a 26 year-old man going bald! An it is not just a bad dream.
Cute:
FYI Wandered over from an ad at kevinandkell.com
animorphic fun.
Enjoyed digesting the archive and I’ve come back a couple of times.
It has staying power. Definitely will add to weekly rotation of reading.
Thanks, your doing a good job with this. Hope it’s fun for you, I’m sure
lots of work though. (comic+promotion+various)
Good Luck/looking forward to where this goes/

The last panel is *sniff* absolutely wonderful!
Comic needs moar Vuvuzela.
my feeling are confused. Its funny and sad in the same time.. poor woo, I want to pet and comfort him to.. >..<
Actually that would be the site admin over there, “Tet”. And he posted on the Jack forum why he started posting ads (not enough donations).
I’m “Aldin” over there.
Aw, poor Woo. D: I feel totally sorry for him. >: Not only it is the falling fur, now there is also the fears to love his raccoon-ism overall. >:
Thank you for the clues,
I would not have thought that a raccoon *could* lose its mask.
Thanks for being tolerant of us poor clueless people.
‘Otter
The last panel = awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Not sure where this comment came from, but the only decent use I’ve heard for a vuvuzela is to answer a person who has just finished “tooting their own horn”.
It’s probably been mentioned before, but the last panel is particularly touching. Sandra can be so motherly where Woo is concerned. And Woo is very evidently still young.
The last panel is very touching. I see this nightmare more in line with when one of us humans has a dream where you wind-up naked in public. Woo’s been around humans so much that his mind dressed-up the coons he knows. Probably his “wedding” night in the dream. 🙂
Poor Woo seems terrified…

– Though perhaps this is Woo and Lily in several years, with a special addition. If that’s what he has to look forward to, no worries. :3
I think the nightmare about the other raccoons is his realization that a sickly looking raccoon is not a prime mating potential for a female raccoon! Natural selection is very cruel, and he still has to have SOME instincts for romance. (tie in to Sandra and Cloud)

I hope it’s not mange
Sandra’s cuter when she’s got her surprised-eyes on.
Personally, I can’t sympathize with Woo’s reaction to loosing the fur on his tail.
If it’s appropriate for a 26-year old to react that way to balding, how should I react considering
I’m 22 and I’ve lost 1/3 of my hair?
The only real reaction I had was shrugging.
C’est la vie, Que sera, sera, etc.
I always found the last pannel heart-breakingly cute. I just love the way he clings to Sandra like a kiddy and her sweet words, it makes me go “Woooooooooooooooo ;-;”
