And once again, I’m not sure how I feel about this: two characters I sympathize with are in what’s basically a fight for their lives… I’m still wondering if she’ll pull DC Simpson on us, and matter-of-factly state some flakey political viewpoint about police, inner-city youths, and drugs, or actually come up with a good twist…. (I hope it’s the latter)
monday?

It’s a parked car. Otherwise it would run over Brandon since it’s directly heading in his direction.
It’s a Final Fantasy reference (I googled it lol)…which makes perfect sense!!
FANTASTIC arc! I 100% disagree with a prior poster who said it was too long – it’s perfect – suspensful and great (keeps me coming back!!). Keep up the great work!!!

O O O.
Yeah, that didn’t work. Image it would be the FF victory fanfare.
I’m loving the action scenes. crisp lines.
PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE PLEASE!!!!
Shouldn’t that knife have blood on it? From when Brandon stabbed the cop?
….. and Ye Thuza’s foot lands directly on top of the knife, thus making it inaccessable to the (I presume) drug-crazed Brandon.
he is not high or druged
i have a bad feeling about what’s to come O_O
lol, I was gonna say that too, even though I haven’t seen much of teen titans. I love the fifth and last panel. love the action, and the way cloud’s eyes look in the last panel.
correct me if I’m wrong but…
the knife seems to have a clean blade. Did he not actually stab the cop?
So what is this drug dealer dealing again? I feel a little uncomfortable with ruining some kid’s life over some crap that probably shouldn’t even be illegal, and then when he defends himself that’s treated as pure evil.
Actually – I don’t believe we know whether or not he was using. But in my experience, most street-dealers are using too. This is one way that an addict can pay for his own drugs. So, there’s a fair chance that he is also stoned at this time.
Well, regardless of one’s feelings on the legilization of some substances (such as marijuana), he still stabbed a cop who was doing his job. I’m sorry, but anyone who initiates a potentially deadly attack against a police officer does not rate much sympathy from me. When I started as a cop in 1978 … well, the encounter would’ve probably ended a lot different. There were laws and court rulings back then that would’ve allowed the use of “deadly force” to stop a “fleeing felon” who was known to be “armed and dangerous”.
Personally, I’m in favor of legalizing marijuana – simply because the governments (both federal and state) can make a great deal of money in taxes from it. That money then can be used to fight the more dangerous drugs like crack and heroin. But, even legalizing it won’t keep people from growing their own – so we’d still have to have ways to enforce the tax and production laws. But, even marijuana is still dangerous – for example, driving under the influence of marijuana is just as dangerous as DUI alcohol. And if you think that crack, heroin and other drugs are only hurting the “user” you are ill-informed.
