This is Woo steps in with the tranquilizer rifle. Then Mr. Tough Guy is crated up and shipped off to a boot camp. Right? RIGHT?
@everyone: you all make good points
@RocketTCoyte: xD
@comic: dream or reality?……find out soon! I am now more hooked to this comic than before.^^

Ferraris aren’t for killing things and looking flashy though. Trying to kill or hurt your fellow-humans with a status symbol WOULD pretty much cement you in the “jerk” class in my mind.
hey, where did cloud poke his nose in? he saved brandon’s brother. it was brandon who shouldnt have stabbed the officer and all would’ve been fine…
LE GASP suspense
I think what you are all missing is there was a transition from previous comic (in dining room) to here (clouds bedroom)
He said Wait a second.. not Just a second meaning it wasnt a reply to a specific person, or the knock.
Instead, he notices something was wrong!
I would bet money that he keeps his desk drawer slightly ajar so that he knows if someone has went into it.
THAT is why he is saying wait a second.. he just noticed someone has been in his drawer, and thus his room.. this revalation comes just a bit too late it seems.. but cloud will survive
Y’know what I really want to know?
About Larissa’s story
Everyone thinks that brandon is about to get his butt whopped on. But think about this.
1) He would have had to get through the front door first meaning someone else answered it and ALLOWED him to come in.
2) He doesn’t really look too angry.
3) Cloud doesn’t seem surprised to see him.
4) Remember how a few pages back Brandon’s friend was coming out of the hospital looking kinda bummed? He told Brandon that he had to stop doing drugs, and NOT because of what Brandon’s little brother said. I think it was because ( remember, coming out of the hospital bummed ) he found out he has some serious medical issues because of them.
I think Brandon may have actually come by to thank Cloud. At least that’s what I hope. ^^
woah! blue!
I’m going to go along with the “Brandon has come to thank Cloud, not to fight him” opinion. My guess is that Brandon will say sorry, he was high on drugs when he attacked the policeman and he’ll say that a superhero should have a trophy of his victory and give Cloud the butterfly knife.
Maybe. Just maybe, Brandon will also say that he’s going into rehab to get off drugs permanently. I hope so.
@ Yan:
The butterfly knife that he stabbed the policeman with.
O.O i wonder if he’s gonna like try and kill cloud …….
I could swear this is a subtle reference to the manga Deathnote; where the main character hides his “secret notebook” along with secret identity in his drawer before someone enters.
@ Yan:
A butterfly knife
@ State:
Actualy, Cloud was the one who went to spy Brandon’s house at the beggining of the story
@ Random:
it was ralph that got in jail
@ Gerardo Tejada:
That is not a paradox. That is cause and effect.
A paradox is closer to the old “Save the Bombadier” gag or possibly “Who’s on first?”
It is an endless chain of circular causality. The action causes a result which forces the same action. Although revolving door justice might be considered a paradox as the action is ineffectual and allows the same cause to occur repeatedly what you described is not a paradox. You undermine yourself with your argument. Not that any of this matters but someone should respond to you rather than just rate you into obscurity.
Oh man, but how could he get out or is this just a dream sequence? :O It’s obvious that cloud is Hit-boy so that’s nothin special, but What happent to 15-20 years of prison?
Secret Identities can’t be that hard to keep. This be fail on Cloud. Maybe from the last strip he ‘confessed’ it…hmmm…
He must have a hostage or an army if he was going to confront Cloud with only a butterfly switchblade. I seriously doubt he could blackmail Cloud with fame.
Regarding the question of just who this is holding the butterfly knife – it IS Brandon (as one can see in both the tags and the transcript below the strip itself).
As to the possibility of it being Brandon’s brother (Ralph) – nope! As seen in the strip where Ralph confronts Brandon about his still dealing; http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2010/07/08/0180-ralph-is-worried/
Ralph is a little pudgier, has different hair and his eyes are a bit squintier.
Frankly, I’m not sure if this will be better if Brandon is back for a re-match and gets his butt kicked again … or if he’s seen the error of his ways and has come to apologize. If, on the other hand, this is a dream, then we could be looking at an arc about Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. That could be pretty interesting too.
@ Yan:
That is a flick knife, a type of trick knife. Also known as balisongs and butterfly knives, their legality is as varying as switch blades.
@ Yan:
A butterfly knife like he used before to stab the olice officer.
Notice the following:
He says:
“Wait a second.”
THEN there’s a knock on the door while he’s looking in the drawer. There was no knock until after he allowed Brandon to come inside.
@ Yan:
I believe it’s his switchblade.
@ Yan:
butterfly knife that the thug guy used(go reread it man)
Sad. But it makes sense. No disguise is perfect. At last, some comic strip makes sense about that!
(Hanna Montana’s hair and Clark Kent’s glasses never made sense to me).
Why would THEY need secret indentities anyway…?
