The current story arc started with this strip: Hit-Boy.
If you don’t understand the title of today’s strip, here is the relevant dialog at the beginning of Kick-Ass:
- Dave Lizewski: Jesus, guys, doesn’t it bug you? Like thousand of people wanna be Paris Hilton and nobody wants to be Spiderman.
- Marty: Yeah, what’s with that? She has like no tits at all.
- Todd: Maybe it’s the porn tape, he doesn’t have a porn tape.
- Marty: You guys never saw “One Night In Spiderman”?
- David: Hey, latest star of an internet video, check out these drawings of you I found on the web!
- Ye Thuza: Urgh, such big boobs would be quite impractical for fighting. And Spiderman isn’t my type at all!
- Ye Thuza: Or Batman.
- David: My, aren’t we a little picky? What kind of superhero is your type, then?!
- Ye Thuza: I’m totally into supermen who read a nice bedtime story to their daughter every evening. Rrrrrrr.
- David: That’s all Folks!

woot
I don’t like superheroes at all.
Fandom attack all the way! 😀
Do you think you could draw Sandra with Woo in Batman&Robin style? Maybe as a vote incentive?
So what´s that superhero called? Familyman?
Oh! I love being rewarded for Familyman duty 😀
@ Draco Blair: actually I should be doing that!
Did she pin her hair up and then let it down again…?
Cloud’s dad is sexy.
Kwaii! Good answer, Ye Thuza! And I personally liked the ending. It was cute. ^ ^
Ah, the Internet can be so stupid. I like Ye Thuza’s superhero as well :).
Man Ye Thuza and David are the sexiest couple ever! They are a pool of hot genes!
No wonder Cloud is a ten
I guess David Williams is of course as cool as Ye Thuza, just that he is a side character by the moment.
this getting so wrong…
WHOOPS- there goes the fourth wall.
Love that last panel; both the art and text!
Woo~~
How come Cloud’s mom tied her hair up, but in the last panel, her hair was down? o.o…
something super is gonna happen tonight
I have loved this entire arc. And this is an excellent way to wrap it up (assuming this wraps it up that is – LOL)!
I have also enjoyed the mostly interesting discussions this arc has generated. Granted, some comments have been, umm, less than well received. But overall, it has certainly been thought provoking.
Thanks!
So, I would assume Pixar’s Mr. Incredible has the best shot, then? He does seem like the type, after all
I don’t even know why I’m laughing that much about this XD’
Is it the fact that rule34 is a bitch even in fiction-RL?
Or that both Ye Thuza and David are taking it with such a dry sense of humor?
Is it her nimble-witted response?
Is it the mental image of David in a Superman-costume? (even though I would rather skip that in this context…)
Is it the breaking of the fourth wall?
I think it’s all of it at the same time.
Good combo Novil 😀
*Is totally downloading some nice bedtime stories for his daughter tonight* 😉
Wow. Just funny and cute with that little bit at the end and a TAKE THAT! to the internet.
Also, I’m just gonna tally these scores down like I did last time
Woo: +1
Cloud: +5
David: Win.
Strife: -1
Wait, I thought my score was zero, how the hell did I get minus one?
Hah. A sly rule 34 jab, I see.
Jolly good!
First off, David is one heckuva lucky man.
Second off: I’ve never understood why people like drawing artwork of people who have small boobs as if they had big boobs.
Third off: I’m back B***hes!
Great story, my only objection was the minor child dropping the mf-bomb as (it turns out) scripted or improvised dialog. Improvised is a better interpretation.
Extremely excellent parental-marital-romantic-descretionary moment in this strip!
Lady lets her hair down again for some quality time, and the Gentleman always know when to close the laptop and cut to commercial.
Well done.
The only one who won at the end was Cloud’s father n_n
One still has to question. What was he looking up that he just “stumbled” on those?
hehe. What a dirty dirty man. 😀
A very nice wrap up of that arc.
@ Nivarion:
I never thought about that…I think you might be on to something here.
Wonderful strip, and what an ending to a great epic. Now we just have to get someone to repair that fourth wall.
It is a part of every man’s job nowadays to search his family’s names, activities, etc.
I can tell you from experience that if your loved ones show up online, damage control needs to be standing by.
Just a notice:
Ye Thuza: I’m totally into supermen who read a nice bedtime story to their daughter every evening. Rrrrrrr.
“a nice bedtime story” needs fixing.
Also, a very good arc. I like your storytelling, and Powree’s drawing. It fits together.
I take some things into way too much context.
Why did I get three thumbs down?
Awesomesauce!
I just notice when Ye Thuza clip her hair, in the last panel, her hair was unclipped anymore.
@Absolutely everyone:
I’m quite certain that Ye Thuza doesn’t clip her hair up. It looks a lot more like she’s brushing it it the first panel, then just realises that it would be a waste of time by the end.
MrGBH, I can see in panel 3, both Ye Thuza’s arms are lowered, but her hair isn’t.
As a scene, this panel transitions from “regular bedtime activity” to “sweet superheroine activity.”
Wonderful use of (presumably) off-script details to deepen the story. Kudos, Powree.
@ Alectric:
Well if you look at what’s going on
What do you think is going to happen next?
Nice use of fourth-wall breaking!
Subtle and effective, very worth the break!
@Geoff:
Too much of her arm is off-panel to be sure off what it’s doing beyond the elbow. It looks to me as if she’s pulling her hairbrush to the very tips of her hair. And in panel 2 she’s swapping over which hand the brush is in.
@MrGBH,
I can appreciate that interpretation.
I see, at most, a dark round object in Y T’s hair at the back of her head, and she’s using both hands to get her hair fixed into it.
I can see that [between panels 1 and 2] she’s shifted on the bed closer to her husband, David, to glimpse the laptop’s screen. This happened in the gutter between panels (I love gutters, anything can happen there!).
While her hand may be holding the hairbrush (or anything, really), I don’t think it’s possible for someone to get a hand close enough to the back of their head without lifting the arm parallel to the shoulders.
I just tried it and it doesn’t work for me.
Enjoy.
Sooo…… does this mean there is actually shall we say “naughty” pics out there of her? Or just a preemptive nose thumbing at any who do make them.
LOL Nice strip, +1 for Animaniacs reference
It feels quite fitting that Ye Thuza’s main issue with Rule 34 would be a problem with logistics.
@ Nivarion:
So what your asking is “Why was he looking up his wife’s new Fan Website?” =3
David… Wish I was you, lucky man!
@ Sal: What fourth wall? 😉
I agree Blitzkrieg.. Ye Thuza does seem to be logically analyzing fan images of her video, rather than poking fun at them.. And it fits her personality very well.
Also agree that the breaking of fourth wall is a nice touch at the end.
Something tells me though that the last bit of this story won’t be posted here at all.. ;P
(BOW CHICKA BOW BOW!)
(Never understood the whole bewbs of dewm fetish either.. What are you supposed to fantasize yourself doing with them?)
O.O *jaw drops* lolz?
Animaniacs reference YAY!!!!!
Why did she put her hair up just to take it back down? lol
Hehe that’s such a nice ending. Although some didn’ like this serious story it was a great arc and I hope you’ll keep makin them so great. 😉
So yeah I never understood why can’t those fanartists keep to the original measurements and let’s not talk about the shippers. XD
The hair thing is just that she was gettin ready for the night so she clipped her hair up, but when the “subject” changed she just got ready for it and let it down. It’s that simple… but since no one will see it there was no real point in saying this… But still I wanted to. XD
Good night, everyone!
