Sometimes, Sandra and Woo strays onto autobiographical grounds. 😀
- Cloud: Will you sit down and behave yourselves already!?
- Cloud: The other customers are staring!
- Ye Thuza: I’m a saber-toothed squirrel!
- David: I cast “Fork Shield” to protect my nut cake. It’s super effective!
- Cloud: It’s impossible to go anywhere with you two!

I know that sort of family. Luckily not THAT embarrassing but very close sometimes. But again great and funny comic. I suddenly know again why I wait two times a week till 24:00 to see this site updating…
They’re stuck between Pokémon and world of warcraft it seems 😀
Parents can be so embarassing.
Yuna’s my favorite in this one. 🙂
I wish my family was that interesting
I LOVE this family.
I work at a restaurant and I’ve seen many cases where kids have been embarrassed by their parents more than the other way around.

Oh… my… This shouldn’t disturb me so much…
…This shouldn’t be so accurate…
This looks familiar!
It’s seems Cloud has yet to learn the art of raising parents.
THANK you so much for the LAUGH!!! I LOVE this one the bestest! Well, I like a lot of your strips, but I LOVE this one with much love!
back when i was a small boy i used to watch sitcoms and wish my parents were like the ones i saw on them. all of a sudden i see cloud’s parents. those two are far more interesting!!
well it would be nice if they asked how those 2 meet i mean Ye Thuza is like super mom and david is a real mystery,
Somebody here is watching too much videos!! HAhahaha, OhmyGod, it’s treally funny! Congratulatiosn… and have Woo away from the VCD!
My great uncle and his wife were like that.
I miss them greatly.
he can use his fork shield forever
This is one of the great things about comics… if you can’t see the person, you can’t see who’s talking, and what’s going on – so it makes the last frame even more effective 🙂
The irony! It’s too much! DX
OMG!
If I had kids, I would be just like Ye Thuza and David.
Saber-toothed Squirrel FTW!
Parents these days … tsk…
“See, this is why we’re not allowed at the OTHER restaurant any more!”
Hahahaha! I laughed so hard at this. My mum thought I’d gone mental 😛 I absolutely love Cloud’s family, they’re the best xD 😀 <3
lol
poor kids XD
Hey guys, figured I’d let you know that something is up with the site. When I pull up the main page, it only shows up to the Moonlight Sonata filler page, and the archive doesn’t go any further either.
Wild YE THUZA appeared!
Go, NUTCAKE!
Wild YE THUZA used BITE!
It was super effective!
NUTCAKE fainted!
Hehe, I love the way Yuna’s hiding. She’s got a rare item, the Menu of Hiding +20.

I think this was a problem with the WordPress Super Cache plugin. It’s probably fixed now.
OMG, it’s just like my family. o.o
ha pokemon reference. Black and White omfg
Geek families are increasing every year, just go to comic con.
I think Cloud´s Family is pretty standard if you compared them to other geek families
Hee hee, this is the kind of parent I wanna be. ^^
I’m wondering who Cloud’s little sister is more embarassed about. He does seem to be making more the scene than the wascally adults.
At least they didn’t bust out any trading cards, my parents went to Denny’s a lot and after dinner they’d play Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh …. they’d play until closing time (no one had a problem with it because we kept buying drinks, so we were still customers.) and then the Waitress would basically give the “You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here” comment.
I wish my family was like that. Never saw my parents get silly.

True, but don’ forget that when you open the strip in one window most ppl’s eyes go right to the last, biggest or most interesting picture and then the big finale is over. XP
I thought they’d be able to joke around like that, but forgot to think about poor kids. Nice job again keep it up. X)
I don’t know why, but Yuna is adorable in this strip.
I’m with Yuna on this one. Except replace the menu with a facepalm.
XD I love this family!
This is me and my mom. Cloud is Chuck.
Love it! Love it! Love it! 😀
I love this family.
SO MUCH.

if you’ve never done this with chopsticks as a kid or an adult then you really should! The more crowded the restuarant the better! If you can’t have fun with a bit of childish humor without being called boring then people are either getting too uptight or really don’t know how to have fun! x

Hmm. I wasn’t aware of that (thank you) – I’m usually too busy worrying about making sure my speech balloons are read in the correct order. Good thing I do my panels vertically, then 🙂

The annoying thing for me is that its not the person doing the childish thing that is attracting the attention, its the one stating that they should be doing it that is… My Father does that to me all the time. I do something small and insignificant when I was younger and he would tell me off in a loud voice that people are staring, I watched the people, they only stared when HE said something…
THOUGH, in this case, I think everyone was watching already…
I just noticed that they are in an JAPANESE Restaurant yet David is using Forks…
For SHAME David, FOR SHAME!!! I thought you were a ‘Geek’ Dad, all geeks can use Chopsticks, specially the JRPG Fanatics…
Story. of. my. life.
Parents are strange creatures.
This is SO my family. It was 40 years ago and it is now, only now I’m one of the embarrassing parents. A small yet sweet bit of revenge for what my kids put me through on a regular basis. 🙂

As my grandma used to say: “Your children are the punishment for what you put your parents through.”
Your (very accurate) remark just pulled my attention to a whole new dimension of the whole story… XD
