I am getting the feeling that when she was taking meds in the treasure hunters arc that they were mood meds like Prozac. If I am right then I think Larissa needs to up her meds a bit.

I’m slightly confused, I thought in a previous strip Larisa actually knocked sense into Cloud that Sandra and him like each other so she pushed them together and now she’s trying to steal him back, has she realized she made a mistake, or just doing it for laughs….but then we are talking about Larisa we may never know lol x
Also classic 80’s boombox ftw! 😀 but unless it’s got some kind of MP3 attachement or build in CD did she actually record Avril onto a cassette tape JUST to do this?! If so I actually think that’s kinda cool! (Yes I’m a geek get over it :P) x
Hello, it’s the first time that I comment on this site (although I’ve been reading this great comic for a long, long while now). I rarely comment on comics, but here I felt I had to. Sorry in advance if I’m breaking comment posting rule #4, but I have to get it out of my chest: what’s with larissa’s uncool attitude against sandra in this comic? I thougt that that story was over, and yet here she goes, acting like a total *****. It’s not cool at all. I know a person that lived a situation similar to that one and I’ve seen how it hurted him. Can’t say that I like the subject, so I hope that there will be no more of this stuff coming.

Well have to give Sandra points for not breaking the boombox over Larisa’s head. Then
“jump on her head till she stops moving”. Of course the problem with that is you get goo on your shoes.
Somehow i guess it really was too subtle and Cloud didn´t got the meaning behind it at all. XD

The proper counter is Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me. that is, had Cloud somehow ended up sticking with Larisa from the earlier drama, that would have been an appropriate response from Sandra.
Of course, at this point, Cloud is never going to let go of Sandra for Larisa. Sandra’s a keeper, while Larisa’s a player, and he doesn’t seem the type to knowingly choose someone so… flighty and potentially disloyal. (After all, a revolutionary leader must know they can implicitly trust those closest to them with far more than just their life, or they are doomed to eternal paranoia. Larisa might make a good Operative someday, if she wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb in Burma, but Sandra is the one who’s viable as an actual companion.)
An interesting choice of music, to say the least. Because the song, itself, if you listen to the lyrics, is ironic in nature; it basically describes the kind of girl you want to AVOID at all costs, evidently by how insanely possessive they are.
Sadly, the music video doesn’t capture the same feeling of the lyrics. But someone did an excellent AMV called The Harrassment of Kyon. It’s hilarious and it captures the song’s meaning as well. Check it out.

I hate that song. It’s just so arrogant. Just like that “Don’tcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?” song from that rubbish girl group. It just makes me want to slap her and scream “Your sense of entitlement is FALSE!”
On the other hand, it’s nice to see so many Larisa and/or Cloud focused strips.
Maybe, just in a troubled mind, menage a trois…?

About this song… hmmm… I kinda like how it sounds and all, but yeah I don’ like that “I don’t care that you have a girlfriend” attitude of it… although great job fitting it here, it’s just perfect. X3
What I don’ get is: WHY is Larisa always trying to get closer to cloud when SHE was the one who told him to stop goin after other girls if he likes Sandra in the first place…:p
