The current story arc started with this strip: Healthy Cookies, Part 1.
Sandra is really shocked by someone or something she has seen in the second panel. I wonder what it is… 😉
All donators can now download a PDF of our first print collection The Woo on our exclusive page for donators. Here are four sample pages:
- Sandra: (a – b)² = a² – 2ab + b²
- ?: Please don’t eeeat meeeee!!

Too much maths makes cookies talk. Scientifically proved!
Woo should stop with the brainwashing of his girl. It’s not good for her health. He’ll just have to find some other way to get all the most delicious cookies.
This is just plain weird. And coming from me, that says a lot.
@ Nivarion:
Woo should get his own “flashy thing”. 😉
THE COOKIE NEVER STOPS SPINNING!!!
I may as well say that I’d never heard of “inception” in this context until the previous cartoon, but the idea that a person can learn something by having it repeated to them while asleep has been around for at least 20 years and probably longer. Calling it “inception” doesn’t make the idea new. It just gives a new name to a very old (and to my knowlege discredited) notion.
It does make for a funny story, though. 🙂
Damnit, as soon as I saw it I had to work it out.
Replacing A with 4 and B with 2…
(A-B)^2 = A^2 -2AB+B^2
A= 4
B= 2
4 = 16-2*4*2+4
2*4*2=16
16-16+4
4=4
Congratulations, the cookie can do Algebra… and so can I apparently…
Sandra, I meant Sandra!
i dont think she wants to eat cookies anymore.
an 11 year old girl that is already in algerbra 1P … i feal dead inside TT_TT
Did Woo, rather than making Sandra want to give him cookies, make her scared of them? If that’s the case, it’s hard not to be impressed. Accident or no.
@ imac:
Why would you feel dead inside for something like that? She’s obviously smart and probably in some special program where you are taking a math course a year ahead of usual. Some people in my elementary school were doing this, the more math you know the better off you are, not to mention math is fun! Calculus is definitely the best math you can take though, sooo freaking useful.
Wait… that’s her classroom, right?
Don’t tell me everyone and almost everything looks like cookies o_Ô’
WOO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?
Honestly… that’s mindf**k… with cookies.
@ Draco Blair:
Woah, good thing I have no cookies for today.
I was about to have a math exercise.
@ Melkior:
It IS something new!
Watch the movie. it’s good 🙂
@ imac:
Mathematics becomes difficult when numbers disappear from it.
Too healthy cookies
Algebra 1 FOIL! I got it right, do I get a cookie?
I bet now Larisa is messing with Sandra’s dream…
Heck, cookies say that to me all the time. I just never listen…
So is this still a dream? With the wierd bubble and the “hard” math it would be reasonable. 🙂
BTW did she see the box when she got into the room and got scared? Did she know what’s inside(again dream reference :p)?
@ reynard61: They say that all the time and that’s why we drown them in milk. :p
A=4 B=2
There ya go, Sandra. Now get some fricking paper for that stuff!
Oh no! I made a mistake!
No wait, I didn’t. Whew! I almost looked like a colossal ass, instead of just a regular one!
PEACE! JUSTICE! AND COOKIES FOR ALL!
Just to get my vote in before you publish the next comic, I think that all of the students, and the teacher, have turned into cookies. By the way, did you know cookies are very good for raccoons?

I’m now picturing a specific scene from the movie “Being John Malcovitch” where Malcovitch enters his own head. But now with cookies.
@ Taran Alvein:
12 = 4????? what happened here??
no, wait… i think i distributed the ^2.. BAD FATH…. yea its 4 = 4…
@ Nivarion:
It isn’t going to be good for his health! LOL
Don’t forget a^2 – b^2 = (a-b)(a+b)
@ Gaboris:
😀
@Melkior
Discredited? Not really, science has proven that your brain integrates sounds and feelings you experience while sleeping into your dreams to prevent you from waking up constantly.
If you get the right person it’s actually pretty simple to influence their dreams.
LLove it. And that is an actual law of math. Try multiplying A-B and A-B. A and A makes A^2. A and -B makes -AB, and there are two of those. -B and -B make +B^2. Cmpletely sound!

7:30 am is no time for cookies. Not if you don’t want to get on the gravy train to fatty-town.
Okaay…. Sooo, the brainwashing technique Woo used seems to work too well (O.o). It’s starting to go a little too far, don’t you think? Woo should indeed start to find another way to have cookies, a more normal way that wouldn’t sent poor Sandra to the psychiatric ward.
Everyone supposes it’s Woo sayinig “please don’t eat me,” but we don’t know if it is him! 🙂
Now thats one disturbing box of cookies… They’ll eat you if you turn your back, but you’ll probobly die if you eat them. Decisions decisions…
ZOMG WE STUDY THAT AT MY SCHOLL!!is sandra a ninth grader? or does my scholl really isnt worth shit?
Haha, I did the same thing 😀@ Adzy:
According to my calculations B=A:
(A-B)^2=A^2-2AB+B^2
A^2-B^2=A^2-2AB+B^2
-B^2=B^2-2AB
-2B^2=-2AB
2B^2=2AB
B^2=AB
B=A
Curse my OCD….
@ Adzy:
How old is Sandra? I can’t do algebra that complex now :/
(admittedly I got a grade G in high school maths at the lowest tier. lol)
a=b
a**2 = ab
a**2 – b**2 = ab – b**2
(a-b)*(a+b) = b(a-b)
a+b = b
if a = 2, then b=2 (from first statement.
2+2 = 2
4=2
@ Landbark: You forget that Cloud sort-of heard Woo in the “Joker” strip.
It’s pretty sad to see so many people making such a complete hash of Sandra’s equation. I was especially fond of the one who claimed that (A-B)²=A²-B²…
@ WJS:
Same! Gah!
It’s just a basic pattern demonstrating how (a-b)^2 is expanded. Nothing to solve!
Stop playing with your prey, Sandra.
Sandra’s cool in my book, even though others might think her a whole square.
