I guess the universe does not want Sandra and Cloud to kiss.
They just need to find a nice quiet place to themselves to be able to kiss. Not in either of their houses where Cloud/Sandra shippers lurk waiting to pounce, dunno about Sandra’s dad, or a place with potentially dozens of people to somehow mess it up. Maybe a nice picnic in the forest with Woo telling all the animals to keep their distance and let them have the area to themselves would do the trick.
Hm… what could Novil mean with the impending “Bull’s Eye II”? Calculating trajectories…
I wonder what Sandra’s dad is going to say about this…

You know how the fandom/hatedom works, this is probably the work of the aerith/cloud shippers.
Also, this really happens, at lest to one of my friends (just like this) and also to me! (though I just meet her… T.T). So next time you are with some one escape from football matches.
