Hello, new readers! The story arc that contains most of the strips and images used for our current ad campaign started with this strip: Priorities.
We spent a lot of time creating this strip, so I decided to put it online a little earlier. The size of the original image is 11341 x 15687 pixel and my computer with 1.5 GByte RAM has troubles displaying it, let alone working on it. But there’s a good chance that we’ll publish the strip as a poster sometime in the future.
- Woo: Uh-oh.

Art critics aside, I love this comic.
Anyone else notice that the leak appears to move a little bit upwards between panels 4 and 5?
soooo i love this lol xD i’d so want this as a poster 😛
Now THAT, I would put on my wall! (as opposed to, say, the “art” this strip references).
i just relived that this is color
This comic is the most interested I’ve ever been in that phase of Mondrian’s work. Lol. Way back in the day in high school, my art class made it clear we weren’t too thrilled with him. So my art teacher made two of us (myself included) do research and a report on his life and work. While some of his middle phases were actually pretty cool, he still lost my interest once he reached this stage.
Woo kept my interest the entire time though and I found the strip to be very clever.

I second this. ‘A composition with Red, Woo and Yellow’ would make a better title for two reasons:
1. ‘Woo’ sounds like ‘Blue’ (That’s what Catinthewall meant)
2. ‘Blue’ does not take part in the action/destruction/flooding
But that’s only my little opinion on a minor aspect of this great comic
Cool idea! loved it, but wanted to see the other colors flowing down.
i just relived that this is color
¬¬ Kid’s nowadays think everything good in a(A)rt is owned to some Graphic Designer’s work. My, people, you do have a short memory and a HUGE ego!
😛
(can you tell I’m an Art Major? can ya, can ya, caaaaan ya?!)
Just Kidding. Novil, I think my love for this strip has thousand-folded. Your work is inspiring and I thank you for it. And today, on X-mas Day, this is my little gift to you (even when this isn’t the actual strip, what the heck, I feel it):

MERRY LOVING CHRISTMAS TO ALL READERS AND MAKERS OF ART EVERYWHERE! 😀
And to everyone on the Sandra and Woo comic team.
That looks familiar…having been playing Super Scribblenauts, I know why.
That is awesome!
This should become a full sized poster! I love it!
This page is amazing, I lol’d like crazy. Great comic, just started reading to day and I really dig.
That is a seriously cool graphic. We loves it!
I have to personally thank you for this ad, and thank Spoony from the Spoony Experiment for having it on his site. Without this and the SpoonyOne I probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon this this great series.
I think it should be Red, Yellow, and Woo.
Because there is no blue in the euation.
I mean, Woo is swimming in red, then he falls into the yellow. In no way, shape, or form is blue involved.
I hope you’re still considering making this comic a poster, I REALLY REALLY would like to buy one…
I love this strip! The whole composition and idea of it is very clever. Excellent work!
This was basically the first comic of “Sandra and Woo” I saw. Only the first four panels, though, as it was just an advertisement. I saw it over and over again on this one site I frequent but never clicked on it.
Until I eventually did. Seeing the full thing, though, it’s even funnier than just the first four, which are funny in themselves. Hands down one of my favourites. :3
Eh eh eh…
Who’ll be the next artist to cry “Woo is me”?
Sometimes, modern art can be a pain.
Next, Woo takes on Jackson Pollock.
Am I the only one who read this and thought it was a pun on ‘pop art’ ?
This is my favorite one-shot so far. I think that has to do, partially, with my dislike for Mondrian’s later works, and my feelings that color should be experienced, rather than mechanically applied like an automaton.
This is the first time I’ve commented, but so far I’ve read everything from the beginning up to now and loved it all. Your love story between Sandra and Cloud is so sweet it hurts my teeth, by the way. Wonderful and adorable. I love it.
I want this in a poster and a tshirt. 😀
I found your comic a few days ago and have been obsessed with catching up. I think this is my favorite comic so far. It’s so cute and clever, and very well done. Love it!
Great stuff! Reminds me of Gus Arriola’s work on Gordo: http://www.momscancer.com/gordo%202.jpg
I just love this! Mondrian is one of my favorite artists and I just love the creative spin you guys put on his artwork. Woo never fails to please! 😀
Love this one 😀
Please, please, please make this a poster!
What… On earth? o.o No way… I’ve seen this before!!! Like, years ago… o.o That is so crazy… I mean, I just ‘discovered’ this comic, what, just over a week ago? But apparently, that isn’t the first time I’ve stumbled upon something from it… Wow… This feels like, surreal…
I find this strip amazing. Good job. Tip my hat on this one.
Beautiful.
I’ve heard of ‘breaking the fourth wall’, but THIS is ridiculous
After two years since my last comment, I’d still love for this to be a poster.

For some reason they changed the spelling of his name on the English version of Wikipedia to Piet Mondrian, when his name is Piet Mondriaan, as is still the case on the Dutch language version.@ Novil:
