The current story arc started with this strip: A New Adventure.
I bet you didn’t see that coming.
Have you already read the blog post about our Sandra and Woo fanart contest? The winner will receive $100, and the four runner-ups will receive another $100!
- Larisa: Hey, it stopped raining!
- Sandra: Hey, Woo fished my lunch box out of the river!
- Cloud: Things are finally looking up!
|
Well, Woo’s certainly on the up-and-up.
Eaaaaaaaaggggggllllle.
And now we see why air power is so crucial in any armed conflict.
(Wait, is that the bird that was in the background of the last strip? NICE!)
Larissa’s correct – she was just a little bit off about WHO’S luck was getting better. XP
NEVER ever say that things are “looking up”! Because they will become worse the very same moment. Last winter I couldn’t fly away from US because of snowstorms. Then finally I was able to get the ticket for leaving plane, so at the gate I went to Mac saying “Oh nice, nothing can happen now, things are looking up!”. When I returned 10 minutes before the end of the passenger loading my ticket already was sold to someone else D= Though later I got business class for that, still it delayed me for 1 more day.
I wonder how waterproof that lunchbox is and if that food was even edible at this point.
Hobbes: It was Cloud saying things are looking up not Larisa.
Oh dear God poor Woo, i hope Sandra will get to save him, again first time she saved him was when she brought him into her house in the first place. Id like her to save him rather then Cloud.
And that was Cloud saying things are looking up!
And on Thursday, we’ll see Woo return the site with a lot of “illegal” eagle feathers and a huge, aching tummy.
Grrr…. Woo return TO the site. Missed a word there. 🙁
If you read the box under the comic with all the text the comic takes on a completely different meaning.
@ Blitz:
That’s the eagle fron the last strip, an excellent foreshadowing Novil, or is this Powree idea?
Noticing a trend…For the sake and survival of our dear characters, please, nobody else says anything optimist untill everybody is safe and sound..
Great twist of the tale here. Hope we’ll see some interaction between Woo and the eagle.
Well, things are looking more like “swept” up. Well, the situation now officially sucks.
Poor Woo… I hope he gets saved quickly. I wonder what he was caring?
@ Random:
“Carrying”, sorry.
Oh, that’s just not freakin’ fair…

Sandra’s Lunchbox
@ Random:
He was carrying Sandra’s lunchbox :p
NOOOO!
And when they find Woo, Woo will be kicking back and relaxing, having taught the eagle that you do not mess with a raccoon
Oh no! Woooo!
Well, at least Woo will be back with dessert. Fried Eagle anyone? It’s fresh off the campfire that Larissa might build. XD
At least Larisa should be able to start a fire now.
when i saw the last panel the first thing i thought was this:
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
I forsee a terrified ear splitting screech in Sandra’s future. At least that is what would immediately come to my mind if I were her.
Clockwerk has returned once again! Anyone else know the reference?
I always suspected Sandra and woo would have a dramatic ending.
I take it your moving on to your next work “Sandra and Friends.”
wow… Sandra will get worried and this means Cloud will get angry!
If it weren’t for Woo I’d be sorry for that eagle. Beeing under protection of species won’t help him now.
Cloud: “Larisa, light the torches! we are at *puts on sunglasses* aerial warfare.” *YEEAAAHH*
And when Harvey is back they’ll already have fried
chickeneagle.Harvey: “Okay, we can get back now, we… huh? Where did you-“
Sandra: “Don’t ask!”
Larisa: “Want some?”
*Woo hands Harvey some meat*
Harvey: “Is that turkey?”
Cloud: “Well… err, No…”
Harvey “So wha-“
Sandra: “Don’t! Ask!”
rule no14 when things seem to be going better. never, ever annouce that it it is going better.
Well, it’s pretty much a given that bird’s about to be upgraded from ‘endangered species’ to ‘imperilled individual’ in about two strips.
Alright ladies and gentlemen, place your bets PLACE YOUR BETS! How will this end-
1: Cloud goes apes*** on the eagle
2: Larissa lights it on fire
3: Woo claws his way out
4: Sandra saves her beloved pet
5: Harvey does something.
6: That’s not Woo, just a regular racoon
That darn food chain just rearred its head in a decidedly less cute manner than when Woo or Shadow is the predator.
NO! Don’tlethimdiedon’tlethimdiedon’tlethim die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
1. Woo will talk his way out of it
2. The Bird of Prey actually snatched him from being about to get chomped by a poisonous snake
3. That’s Tweety’s Grandpa
Though I also like the thought of Woo showing up with a bulging gut, hiccuping feathers now and again. :p
@Anne: I’m pretty sure raccoons don’t talk either.
I hope Larisa isn’t getting hypothermia over there…
Oh no! Woo! >.<
I sense Woo will be eating chicken in the next strip.
Uh, oh! Will Woo panic, forget he’s “under cover”, and scream “Help!” in English? (or German).
Harvey’s not around. Can Sandra’s friends keep a secret? Cloud can. Not so sure about Larissa.
Okay Cloud, next time just don’ try your luck that much. Larisa knows how to stay safe in these matters, you’d better learn from her. XD
Poor Woo, I hope he won’t get scared too much. >.<
The more I think on this, the more it amazes me the amount of discipline Woo has in order to keep his secret of being able to speak “human” (fill in your favorite human language here).
Hey this has been bothering me, why doesn’t Woo wear a collar? I know you don’t usually put collars on cats but you always put them on dogs and Woo looks like he’s about a small dog’s size (and he does seem to wander off a lot). Anyway love the comic and all it’s comedic aspects.
@ Blitz:
Really well spotted! Cool!
Things just got more interesting! I think that Woo will survive this
Woo is just that awesome. He’ll come out alive.
Eagle: Alright, mask boy, hand over the lunchbox
Woo: You mean the one we’re flying away from?
Eagle: You dropped the lunchbox?!?
“I’m beginning to see why eagles are an endangered species.”
The eagle’s only trying to help.
Woo’s the only one that is small enough for him to carry back to the search party he saw in the last strip.
@discrider: That made me laugh. That’s certainly a different way to look at it.
@ Hobbes:
That was Cloud. 😛

I predict Sandra is going to shout something like “Bite him”. Woo follows her instruction and is realeased. Cloud has to spring into action to catch him before he falls hard on the ground.
