The current story arc started with this strip: A New Adventure.
- Woo: Ooooh, huuuge eggs!
- Woo: Huge, delicious eggs!
- Eagle: Uhmm…
- Eagle: … it makes me sad and a little bit angry that you’re eating my offspring.
- Eagle: You see, the plan was that I ate you.
- Woo: You don’t happen to have any salt, do you?

omg no woo!!! your breaking the food chain! we are now so doomed <.<
soon the chickens will rule humans and what will become of us T_T we will be hunted down or becoming pets of some superior animal.
what have u done what have u done!!!!
Suddenly, the situation got more funny than I thought it would be.
@ Landbark: Perhaps it’s more difficult to be emotionally attached to eggs than chicks?
Woo’s next line should realistically be: “Help me!!!! Help!!!! It ripped out my eyes! My guts! They wont stay back in! Momma! Momma!” akin to the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan given it just ate the Eagle’s KIDS!!!!
An eagle attack you and take you to the nest, what is the WORST THING TO DO??
1- make out with the eagle!!
2- play dead!!
3- eat the eagle’s eggs!!!
nice one Woo!!!
My, my, how the tables have turned.
She’ll just drop him. It’ll be all good.
And everyone seems to forget this is a -comic-… I for one laughed. If you guys wanted a nature documentary, go turn on the discovery channel.
I bet the Eagle regrets ever taking Woo. I love how he made himself at home :D!
Why did the previous comics comments get cut off?
I for one, got the joke, but not quite how it was supposed to… I thought it was the meadow from [0017]
Yay! That’s our Woo!
So what, you’re just gonna argue with a raccoon while it’s eating your unborn young? Nice sense of parenthood, Mr(s) Eagle.
Hmm it’s starting to become a little bit too surreal…
I suspect some sheningans on the author part ^^
No matter what, I can’t help but giggle at this.
Obviously, the eagle is much more sad than angry
Woo’s counter: i just ate your offspring. Eat me if you want to find out what they taste like.
Woo can always talk about existentialism with that sarcastic eagle.
And When Sandra and friends find him, they’ll both busy discussing about the universe.

Woooooah, okay, you promised me no one would get hurt… well, actually no one promised anything.
Still, not cool, Woo. Not cool. 😐
okay…let the silliness begin…
Well, now this is… different XD’
I have to admit I did not see this comming.
You know, we should have suspected that this eagle wasn’t very bright when she didn’t kill Woo first. I mean, what did she THINK was going to happen?
I get the feeling that, if given the chance, Woo could single-ha…uh, single-pawedly put eagles back on the Endangered Species list.
You’d think the eagle would react more ferociously in response to him eating her eggs.

My god thats the most funny comment here and its so low on good marks so sad! Any way good one budy. This is exactly what i expected Woo would do.
I like the feather fingers. Nice one Powree.
@ Icalasari:
Have to agree. If the eagle had a report card from it’s education, it would be all over the place. Approach and snatch: A+. Lethal/disabling blow: F. Carrying: A-. Controlling your food: D. Parenting: Absent/DNF.
Wow. I have mixed feelings about this.
Looks like I was right… It was a lady eagle after all.
Well, from what I’ve read, eagles usually lay two eggs, about a day or two apart. The one that hatches first will naturally be the bigger sibling, by virtue of being a bit older. It’ll hog all the food its parents bring for itself, so that the weaker sibling starves. Alternatively, the older one could simply push the younger one out of the nest, to its death. Hardcore, I know, but this is just how eagles roll. Apparently, the second egg is really just an insurance policy of sorts… If one should be devoured by a predator or something, (like Woo lol) they’ve still got the other one, so it’s not a total loss.
Anyway, my point is, maybe that’s why momma eagle here isn’t too angry. One of them was gonna die eventually anyway, and she’s still got the spare egg.
And THIS is why Eagles drop their prey on the cliffs before eating it, and never near their nest.
@ Wolfen:
Sorry to reply to myself like this, but I just remembered: bald eagles mate for life, and they raise their chicks together, so that could potentially be “papa eagle”. So we still don’t know its gender for certain. (I wish we could edit these posts… >_< )
If I were the Eagle, I’d be more furious for killing my children o_o
Also, found dancing Woo! http://i1.kwejk.pl/site_media/obrazki/41263-tanczacy-szop.gif
Haha! Stupid Bird, he should have thought it through!
Haha! Stupid Woo, he’s gonna get in trouble for this!
so…
egg’s crack was delicious ,wasn’t it ,Woo?
I believe that’s what we call a faux pas. Or perhaps a faux paw in this case.
Eagle: Of course I don’t have any salt. I get all the salt I need in my diet. Speaking of which…
Woo: AH YES! On that subject, have you considered the dietary benefits of a closer association with humans?
Eagle: Are you talking about scavenging…?
Woo: No no no no no! Let me explain…
[…]
Woo: Now remember to grip the human’s shoulder gently, and take the food – it comes apart much more easily than raw flesh – and don’t, whatever you do, bite the hand that’s feeding you.
Larissa: This is so cool!
This is getting a little weird. In real life the ripping talons and shock from a 45-60 mph strike would have killed or mortally wounded Woo and why would the eagle let go of Woo instead of immediately ripping into him. And actually letting him eat the egg? Eagles have been known to attack full grown humans who come near their nest. I can suspend belief but gimme a reason.
@ Gamesman:
Because this is a COMIC, not Discovery channel, if you want a -real- nature experiance, don’t look for it here…… This is for humor and unreal relaxing reading…
’cause it’s a comic, I can see the eggs as just the appetizer and by the time Sandra and company catch-up, they’re going to find a very stuffed Woo with a few feathers and a wishbone.
I like how Woo is still eating the egg! LMAO!
oh the sweet, sweet irony woo sure is in trouble now wonder how he’s gonna get outta this one
Well that’s one eagle that’s certainly in touch with her feelings.
Being an eagle myself [typing with my talons here people on someone’s computer!] I feel that eagle’s pain…not to mention the racoon is now un-eatable since you’d feel you’re eating your own children! oh the irony!
I don’t like the fact that woo is eating babies, really.
Ah, this is exactly why those big, strong eagle talons were supposed to snap Woo’s spine even before taking back off into the air again.
What? He is eating her babies and the only thing we got is a lame reaction?
Really Im gona get your children and see how you react.
The only logical reason is that those are empty shells. I mean Im a fan but Im not an idiot, this look too fake.
I think Woo may have noticed one of the eggs was already empty, come on Woo, Salt on RAW eggs? Eeewww!
@ Landbark:
Agreed. What the heck? D:
BTW still funny if we get past the wierd reaction. XD
Oh yes, such a smart thing to do – Bring an Omnivorous animal to your nest and turn your back on him, leaving your eggs unprotected! That is way past an epic fail. And to think I was worried for Woo. . . .
@ Tigger:
I understand that but there has to be a motive for the eagle to hold back. Not expecting real life but just a good story line. In writing and I suspect in comics too you need to consider the motivations of the characters and how they effect the story. I love a good story but it has to flow. Things that make me go “Huh???” break the flow.
well i’d say your plan back fired mrs. eagle.
To all those who complain about the realness of a comic should’ve started at the beginning (when a talking raccoon appeared). Comics bend the rules for comedic effect, and run on a writing and creating rule of humour > reality. There doesn’t need to be so much drama in the comments.
