Credit for the initial idea to use a ponyfied version of Mr. Smith’s dialog during his final confrontation with Neo goes to an anonymous poster on an imageboard.
- Mr. Smith: Why, Ms. Sparkle? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep helping your friends? Do you believe you’re getting something in return? More than a thank-you? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it apple pie? Or a lovely dress? Could it be for good weather?
- Mr. Smith: Illusions, Ms. Sparkle, temporary constructs of a feeble pony intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without sadness or despair. You must be able to see it, Ms. Sparkle. You must know it by now. You can’t win. It’s pointless to keep helping your friends. Why, Ms. Sparkle, why? Why do you persist?
- Twilight Sparkle: …Because friendship is magic!
- Mr. Smith: ARGH!
- Yuna: Can I play with the ponies too?
- Ye Thuza: No. Maybe when you’re older.

i was totally NOT expecting that!
Geez, the only toys I was allowed to melt were Hot Wheels. (That’s back when they were cast metal, not plastic)

Actually, yes. The way the nails looked on one of the hands from January 9th made me wonder if the people playing with the Ponies weren’t adults. And we don’t have that many adult women, so… 🙂

That’s how she looks in the blind bags. They used the Rainbow Dash mold and painted her as Fluttershy. (The irony being that all of the Fluttershy blind bag recolors — which are basically the same mold as a Mane 6 character but painted in different colors and renamed — have the *correct* mane/tail-style.)

Fluttershy’s hair looks different because the toy version of her is a recolor of Rainbowdash. Hasbro likes being cheep, and so far I haven’t seen a Fluttershy with the correct hair.

This is my absolute webcomic ever and this arc just made me love Sandra and Woo webcomics even more! This takes epic to the nth degree, epic ponies, epic movie (the matrix) Also to those insulting SaW comics just because you don’t like ponies, why take the time to post a mean comment? If you don’t like this arc then at least phrase this dislike in a way that is not rude.

I was wondering why the well-defined adult-style fingernails holding the ponies in the previous comics.

not sure but an idea came to me Under SOPA and PIPA the use of the MLP or any other copyrighted charactor could get you fined and your website removed from dns registry and maybe even ip blocked at the border routers. not sure because the wording is so vague. maybe but not sure. so imagine a world with out quality web comics like this.
These two need to stay away from the internet and TV for a good month.

I used to be neutral. You may remember me saying so three comics back. But I’m not anymore. You all, the Brony fanbase, have changed me, made me one of your own. But I’m not one of you, not yet. I still have a long way to go. I don’t understand how this happened. Part of me thinks I’m going insane. Please, help me, tell me I’m making the right choice. And pray that I don’t get judged too harshly for this decision. And maybe, someday soon, we’ll all be friends. Here’s hoping.
This is just like me & my brother… when we play “pretend play” we always make up these super complicated stories, then if we’re at a park and some random kid walks up and asks us to play, we’re just like “…It’s too complicated…” xD

hm….well, i guess i figured it was either them or larissa. If i’d taken the time to think about it, i’d probably have ruled larissa out, as she’d have used a “pit of hellfire” or something instead of solvent. (dip).

Maybe David has a 3D printer…at least a RepRap. There are YouTube videos of extrusion 3D printers running out MLP models.
Depending on what he does for a living, he might have access to a Mojo, a Dimension, or even a stereolithograph.
