Its a Cigar Cutter … however when placed in this manner … it is implied this she’ll used it to cut off his fingers or …. maybe something else >_<

Originally, it’s used to chop the ends of cigars off. The mafia, the mob, and just about everybody else who tortures people use them to cut peoples digits off.

Darkman was my immediate reference. The villain used a similar device to “collect” fingers from his victims before killing them. When you are a giant hand losing you fingers would be very traumatic. Sandra must have a mean streak we haven’t seen yet.
I think the writer (Novil) and artist (Powree) are avoiding gross scene. But I can imagine the hand wake up, felt something wet with her bed, and then she open her quilt to see…… a severed pen tip with ink splattered everywhere!
I think we can stop explaining the concept of the item on the last panel so stop posting so many explainations…for one simple item i thInk we got the idea at the 3rd explaination.
Btw she looks like Lilith from the gaia comic on second panel…or do only I see it?

If you write the character well enough, you can get into situations where you’re all “Gya!… I don’t WANT to write this, but this is the only way it can happen T.T”

usually, it’s a cigar clipper – used to cut the tip off of a cigar so that they smoke easier. But, as any action movie ever will tell you, cigar clippers are also a favorite torture device of villanous maniacs (and denzel washington) because it doesn’t take much more effort for the blades to go through a human finger.

It’s a Cigar cutter. The mafia were rumoured to use them to cut off parts of a finger. It is also used for the same reason in a number of James Bond films.
This has to be the most subtle form of a character breaking the fourth wall that I’ve seen.
Although the dream has to be very meta.. They don’t know they’re in a strip any more than I do.
Would that count as castration, decapitation, or dismemberment?

that would be what people use to cut the end off a cigar, if you put a finger in you will lose it. my dad has one.
