Oh boy, here’s hoping Larissa changes tastes before 6 years have passed.
The facial expressions in this strip were brilliant! This conversation was flowing so smoothly! I also distinctly heard the sound of a “Take that!” on the last panel.
I think she’s missing the point.
I don’t know Larissa. Sandy seems to be hitting a lot on the east coast, lately.
Not content with bending the laws of the universe itself, Larisa now starts tangling the lines of juvenile sexuality. Will adolescence survive intact now that she is within striking distance? Is there no limit to her irresponsible tinkering?

JKelley … well, if you follow the old “half your age plus seven” creepiness avoidance rule, then a 12 year old should be into 13 year olds and up. The problem is, all the thirteen year olds will be into 13.5 year olds… Really, the rule precludes any kind of vaguely romantic relationship below the age of 14. Though it’s a decent enough guide for later life (16 vs 18, 17 vs 20, 22 vs 30, 27 vs 40…)
Really, below 14 they’re most likely to have romantic interests in the +/- 1 year range anyway, as the majority of their peers and acquaintances will be from the same school year/grade. It’s nothing particularly icky… well, not automatically anyway. It depends how far the relationship goes.

I’ve probably spent most of my life to date breaking social norms and kicking sacred cows, I see no reason to stop. But, considering events in my own past, that’s probably why I’m not shocked by anything anyone else does socially (politically is another matter…)

I agree with everyone here, the expressions are fantastic in this strip. They are only made better when you consider that Larisa looks like a mad scientist in every panel right now. Which would explain her twisted thinking. XD

IIRC they were 10 when the comic started, either way it is up to the creator whether to age them or not.

Funnily, I’d just noticed that on checking for updates and came here to ask if I was losing the plot. I think they might actually have been slightly younger, even? So maybe not ageing in real time, and might eventually go from “ageing slowly” to “same age forever”, but definitely growing up in some way.
The question is, what this means for Woo + friends…
Incidentally it turns out the German for “I’m such a pervy pervert” is “Ich Perverser Perversling”. I think that sounds better. Perversling. Sounds like a cartoon character in of itself. Maybe on Futurama or something. From the planet Perverz.
As much as ive come to hate these two girls, i must grudgingly admit that Sandra looks pretty in the 2nd panel, if only because of the hair.

OffTopic question: Whenever I open the comic page I see a quote at the top. Usually it’s something meaningful, or even grinworthy; but often – today for instnce – it looks like it’s in ROT13 or some other code. Today it was:

Speaking about Larissa’s brain/actions, she really seems older than 12, in my opinion. Is there going to be any sort of birthday strip for any specific characters?
If Larisa really wanted to push the Pedophile aspect she’d need a hospital robe, a walker, and some wrinkle prosthetics.
Oh dear, I just busted out laughing when it said: Mr Johnson who is 30. There is a Mr Johnson in y school and he’s an art teacher, too. I think he’s 42, but it still made me laugh like hell.
