Oh no, it’s that guy! Go check out Gunnerkrigg Court if you want to see more of him!
There are four new polls in the voting widget in the right sidebar:
- Among all online comics you currently read, on what position is Sandra and Woo?
- Do you also read Gaia?
- What are your three favorite comic genres? (a specific comic is often part of several genres)
- Since when have you been reading Sandra and Woo?
- Mr. Walch: I’d like to introduce Mr. Eglamore from our partner school in England. He’ll be holding P.E. next week.
- Sir James Eglamore: Hi.
- Sir James Eglamore: You’re Cloud, right? I’ve heard you’re trained in sword fighting.
- Cloud: I am!
- Sir James Eglamore: Show me!
- Description arrow: Wood
- Mr. Walch: Uhm, doesn’t this violate school regulations?
- Michelle: This is gonna be epic! Go get the others!

*psh* Regulations… They don’t even let us give the children live steel anymore…
What the…? Mr. Eglamore, what are you doing here?
Nevermind, this swordfight’s gonna be epic! ^_^
Are you sure that’s wood? I think it’s needs some further inspection.

Ohh, special encounter! Now we will find out just how good Cloud really is.
I haven’t read any Gunnerkrigg, maybe I should… But I have so many comics in my bookshelf that needs reading that it’s hard to find the time!
I find it odd that a non-etheric (i.e. non-magic) school would be a sister school to Gunnerkrigg Court.
If a student exchange took place, I think Cloud and Woo would fit in well at the Court but they wouldn’t want to stay. On the other hand, Antimony would be bored out of her mind at Sandra’s school while Kat and Paz would adjust very quickly.
And I could easily see Larissa schmoozing around with Coyote…
Take care!
It’s that guy
The Engle knight and the half-breed half grown sword master, take yer bets!
Only one other thing would make this more epic.
Cue “Duel Of The Fates” right……now!
Next bout up: Woo, elite scavenger, -vs- Reynardine, fox archetype possessing the body of a plush wolf.
(to follow, a lock-picking contest!)
Next bout up: Zoey Irwin and her powers of smugness -vs- Parley, a teleporting, smugness-seeking human missile.
Parley: Ha! Noogie!
Zoey: Noooo! My ‘do!
Next bout up: Larisa Korolev and her reality-distorting powers -vs- Jones, her unreal reactions and her invulnerability.
Jones: Hmm, I’ve been stuck in a lava field before… however, I am ready to offer you a stalemate draw.
Larisa: Ah, darn….. Accepted.
Next bout up: Seeoahtlahmakaskay, animal deity -vs- Coyote, animal deity
Coyote: This is going to be fun! Hahahahahaha!!!!
Seeoahtlahmakaskay: This is going to be fun!
Eglamore: This is going to be hazardous. Jones, if you could see what can do… Everyone who isn’t Jones, start running.
Next bout up: Battle of the inline page comment systems, Sandra & Woo -vs- Gunnerkrigg Court
Sandra & Woo: User Friendliness Thrust!
Gunnerkrigg Court: Not playing! *blows raspberry* Why don’t you have a go at the forum system if you’re serious? *walks off*
>:=)>
someone has to play this:

@ Mr_Nabby:
It is a very worthy read! I recommend attending as soon as possible… perhaps after this arc concludes?
@ ExPaladin:
My
Thoughts
Exactly.
ahahahahahahaha What even. It’s that guy. XD
unsafe? Pfff, back in my day the kids at school used REAL swords, moden folk put way to much focus on safety, a generation of pussy’s I say! (disclaimer, I am 16 and only bieng sarcastic)
Eglamore! It’s that guy! This fight is going to be awesome.
Is Cloud gonna stop that blade with his face? Tell me Cloud does stop that blade with his face! 😀
This isn’t going to be epic. This is gonna be Pacific Rim meets Transformers meets The Avengers on Steroids.
Anyone who hasn’t read Gunnerkrigg Court is missing out! And while I hold that if you don’t know what you’re missing, you can’t miss missing it, nevertheless, in the case of GC, if you knew what you were missing, I hold that you’d be kicking yourself with frustration!
So, is someone from S&W going to appear in GC? That would be cool.
In High School, Our Agriculture teacher asked for a pocket knife to cut a piece of twine. After he handed it back to the student he remembered the “no knifes in school” policy. The teacher said “do not let any other teacher see that”.
See farm kids need to carry a knife on us always. It is a tool that is critical to living on a farm. Most kids in Ag class are the ones who live the farming lifestyle. In Ag class particularly, we need a good pocket knife just to do the class work efficiently.
No one thinks about these things when writing the laws. Sure the law is good for city folks, but country folks need those tools.

Are you sure that Cloud’s school is normal? sure it looks normal now but it also accept a son of a rebel with great fighting skills and a pyromaniac who strangely doesn’t get expelled even with all her shenanigans.
There’s a secret we don’t even know yet. I wonder what is that.

Gunnerkrigg Court has been on my to-read list for a while now, but haven’t had time to go through the archive yet!
BTW has anyone else tried using Comic Rocket for reading webcomics? It’s particularly good for reading through new webcomics because it saves where you have read to. And it opens up the whole webcomic page for each strip so it doesn’t try to steal/avoid the ad traffic or anything. I found it when looking for some alternative to using RSS feeds and Feedly / Google Reader (RIP) for following webcomics.
@ Deko:
YES.
Is that the gym?
Those boots on a gym floor …
@ Deko:
Actually, I am thinking of the theme from Karate Kid during the final tournament, “You’re the Best.” Of course, I might be dating myself.
Some one call an ambulance!
the poor man will need it soon.
Of course, I would misread the label on the sword and start wondering how a raccoon got turned into a sword. Somehow I missed that last letter. This is what I get for reading the comic while still half-asleep.
Interesting cameo, although Eglamore looks slightly odd in Powree’s style, almost like he’s Asian or something. O_o
Bet he wanted to go there Exclusively to get a read on Cloud.
Now the question becomes regular sword fighting or Ye-Thuza trained sword fighting?
OH MY GOD YES YES YES COMPLETELY IN APPROVAL OF THIS CROSSOVER ok I’m done screaming :3
Yes. Yes it would. It violates ALL of them. This is SO unrealistic. What do you think, Mr. Talking Racoon?
“Well, I do say I find this whole situation rather perplexing.”
I agree.
@ abowden:
Really? Sarcastic? I couldn’t tell from your supposed use of real swords in a school.
Oh yes, GC cross overs, very good! Two of my first webcomics 😀
@ ExPaladin:
Teacher Exchange Program, of course.
Please tell me we’ll get to see the actual fight come Thursday?
Words can go far and fast in this world.
“The big guy is Eglamore”
Yes, yes.
Yesyesyes.
God yes.
I love both comics. xD
And..just yes okay.
Darn you, now I have a new webcomic to read through. Just because I’m sick with the flu doesn’t mean I have time…for…oh wait, I guess it does. Carry on.
This crossover to Gunnerkrigg makes me unspeakably happy. Also, I love the reference to Tom’s comments about Eglamore.
Anyone who reads Gunnerkrigg will get that.
@ Peridotdreams:
Oh god, Larissa and Coyote would have a ball.
Mr_Nabby wrote:
YES!!! YES!!! GO!!! NOW!!! You *won’t* regret it!
IT’S MR. EGLARMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *fangirling* EEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
@ Greenwood Goat:
Epic, I would totally buy that!!! <3
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I spent all of yesterday reading Gunnerkrigg Court. Every single page.
It’s wonderful and brilliant.
Thank you.
Eglamore from GC vs Cloud from SAW!
I would kill to see pages upon pages devoted to this fight!
Shut up Novil and take my money!
Wow, I didn’t know you guys had an exchange program going with Gunnerkrigg Court! ^^
@ C. W. Roden:
Why not “One Winged Angel,” or “Otherworld?” As a matter of fact, why not any strong song that brings to mind a battle or conflict, like “Sarajevo 12/24,” or “A Mad Russian’s Christmas?”
@ ExPaladin:
At least it’s not Jones :p
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
Hmph, steel is still not epic enough. He should have a magic sword that shoots fire…
Thanks to that I spent most of yesterday and today reading 1250 pages of Gunnerkrigg…
