eh?! that long? uh ¬¬ wait a minute, I checked previous comments again and Novil didn’t post that… are you trolling us too Anon? is not funny, as promised I’ll edit panels if a new arc starts next week ;/
Larisa could easily have more than one ‘real’ secret. She might not reveal the one we’re expecting… 🙂 🙂 🙂

All these downvotes? That’s not the fan community we know. Welcome to Sandra and Woo, new reader! The ponytailed girl is Larissa and she is awesome and terrifying. Read through and get to know the cast!@ Tarlock:
And maybe it’s all about how she’s totally in love with Cloud but gave up for the sake of her dearest friend… *sob* …and thus not funny. And nothing really new.
Oh noez, the secret doesn’t worry me now. =)
I wonder if Sandra has a secret worth sharing…. ( you know, aside from the whole “I have a pet raccoon and he can talk” dealy)
I don’t understand why everyone is so angry at the author for this strip. It’s obvious, from the way Woo is coverring for her, that the secret is the same one that Woo found out during the factory exploration arc when Larisa took some non-insulin meds and told Woo it was a secret just between them.
I personally vote that she either has a psychological condition which causes her character extremes and is being medicated, or that she’s got a life-ending illness and that her behavior is from trying to get as much out of life while she can as she feels doomed to die an early death.
You aren’t fooling me!
Larisa has the writer held up at flamethrower-point with threat of dire consequences if we find out the secret, doesn’t she?
@ C. W. Roden:
They say familliarity builds contempt.
No offence, but this comic was pretty pointless.
Personal, I think it could have something to do with Larissa not taking part in Gym-Class.
But thats just my two cents, because it reminds me of the time of the treasure hunt and how she had to take some meds and looked just as said as right now.

Except you kind of told us we would have found out by now. It’s kind of coming across as you planning to never reveal it because you enjoy holding it over us much more than it’s coming across as you revealing it gradually over time.
Fffffffuuuuuuuu–!!!!!!!
You guys are looking to much at what we aren’t being told. We should be focusing on what has been told.
Item one – Larisa has a secret. In theory she could could be trolling Zoey, but a) she promised a secret in return for Zoey’s, and b) the text wouldn’t be hidden if she was trolling.
Item two – Zoey now knows Larisa’s secret. Time will tell how this will affect their relationship, and her reactions to Larisa may provide valuable clues.
Item three – I doubt it was coincidence that Larisa’s arms were covered in the last panel, especially considering her secret is possibly drug related.
Item four – Woo may or may not now know Larisa’s secret. Probably not, but you never know.

Hello Ambassador Kosh….
As answers go… Short, to the point, uterly uselles, fully consistent with what I came to expect from a Vorlon.
“Novil:
Come on, guys. Don’t you remember how long you had to wait for Sandra’s first kiss? The truth will eventually come out.”
Well, dang. There goes my theory.
I thought it was going to be about how she can defy physics, such as that time she hung upward from a crossbar, but if that were the case we’d certainly never learn the truth.

“Diabetes/HIV”?
…she pretty clearly has diabetes, and it doesn’t seem to be a secret… and there’s no reason to think she has HIV, although that could be what the other drug regimen is for.
Congratulations, That was well played sir.

I was ok with the comic…until I read the comments. Why do you people think so sad things? I have so much time praying for Larisa not having any bad medical condition TT^TT.
Im really ok not knowing the big secret if the secret is something bad. I just love every single character too much.
@ Lukkai:
Fifteen percent.
Sorry, OCD.
Hmm – did Larisa found it easier to share it’s secret with her instead of with her friends ? 🙂
At least, she shared her secret with someone, so it would be easier for her to tell to someone else next time ! (And please change the crew dedicated to sound capture ! :p)

Parallel classes. I think it’s something like Zoey and Michell being in class 7A, and Larisa and Sandra being in class 7B.
If I were the cartoonist, I would come up with Revelation Insurance. People send me a small fee via Paypal along with their names. If they die before the secret is finally revealed and I am sent proof of death (such as a copy of the death certificate), I will send their next of kin cool stuff, and maybe even put the deceased in the comic.

Nope, he has a very specific thing in mind; it’s been hinted at almost since the origin of the comic.

That is true. However, I don’t think “eventually” is soon enough for most of us, if “eventually” is not in the next (realtime) week or two. And I can promise you that if you don’t tell us in the next week or two, people better skilled with photoshop than I will start filling in the speech bubbles with much more unfortunate things, things slanderous to your comic…So for your sake, I hope the real reveal is soon!
Is that a threat? A little bit, yes!
That said, however much the fact of not knowing frustrates me, I thought the joke itself was hilarious!
Larisa’s real secret: why she is still with Landon instead of chasing after some hot guy!
Sigh. The problem with this is you have been teasing us with it for almost 4 years, and we have learned absolutely nothing about it since the factory arc. Even here we learned basically nothing other than that it seems to be pretty serious, based on Zoey’s reaction, but that was something most of us figured from the start.
I get the joke, but it’s lost in the frustration of realizing there is a good chance I will never see the resolution of this, or by the time I do I simply won’t care anymore.
A long term plan is good. But this isn’t like Sandra and Cloud kissing. That was an event, we all knew it was going to happen and it was just a matter of time. There is no real thought about it. Her secret is an entirely different matter. We do not know what it is, and we are simply receiving promises that we will, eventually, find out. To me these are not at all comparable.
Oh har-de-har har.
@ Bernadotte:
yes
@ ekimmak:
I wouldn’t be surprised if she did. I wonder how bad is her illness?
Really not sure why people are boo-hissing the hidden text. Larisa’s secret really isn’t a secret. It’s been spoiled pretty much as far back as May 2009 if you’ve been paying attention to the strips.

When you combine those strips you see that Larisa requires insulin, a nasal medication, and some form of regular pill ingestion. Obviously there’s something seriously wrong with her body to be taking that many pills at once; potentially something long-term lethal. ‘That’ is her secret.
You
You ;_;
you trolls and teases and yeah I’m mad.
@ Sakuri:
N/m. Ninja’d and I didn’t even notice before posting. XP My bad.
@ Novil:
yeah but a comic like this feels like a total waste of a comic day.
Meh.
Sorry, but that’s neither funny nor ok with your readers.
Any kind of in-comic-world distraction preventing Larisa from finishing the sentence would be understandable. This feels cheap.
I think I’ve figured out a possible reason why Novil keeps putting this off. It ties in with the ‘Larisa is terminally ill’ theory – Novil won’t reveal Larisa’s secret yet because he hasn’t done everything he want to do with the character, because the only way he’ll ever reveal it… is in the story in which she dies.

There is no better way to describe it.
Finally we get a story arc about Larisas’ big secret, yet the only thing we saw was teasing us and delaying that one reveal.

Didn’t expect a Babylon 5 reference here. You, sir, just made my day. And made me all in all more inclined towards forgiving the author for this grievous mistake.
@ Sakuri:
You are completely missing the point!
“Obviously there’s something seriously wrong
with her body to be taking that many pills at once;
potentially something long-term lethal. ‘That’ is her secret.”
(probably) Everyone of us knows this.
We are complaining because this is a cheap prank to delay the reveal of what causes this.
Larisa is “ill” but that is far from a specific term; and now we finally get to know her illness.
…EXCEPT NOT.
Bloody hell her secret is AOE silence after uttering the phrase you may have wondered why I….
thus the gestures.
My actual guesses are heart troubles, possibly along the lines of being on a waiting list for a transplant, immunosuppressant drugs after Getting one, or something termnal.
Oh you cheeky son of a bit!
inb4 the secret’s that she is a druggie. *sniped*
