Can you please introduce yourself to our readers?
> I live in North Carolina in the U.S.A. and go by “Iron Ed” (mostly) in webcomic forums. “Iron Ed” derives from previous hobbies of blacksmithing, and Cowboy Action Shooting competition. Currently I follow 18 webcomics regularly, do a lot of reading (mostly sci-fi & fantasy), and some drawing (anthro) and writing (but unpublished). I’m probably in the upper part of Sandra & Woo’s readership age bracket. My education only goes up to a community college1-yr drafting diploma (pencil & paper!).
When you read Sandra and Woo for the first time, what grabbed your attention the most?
> The writing and art styles were an immediate attraction as well matched to each other and attractive to me. I also like how well it can take serious subjects and make them funny but still thoughtful. There is a nice balance between short & funny with longer story arcs too. I don’t recall any story arc getting long enough for me to get totally tired of it.
Is the thing you mentioned above still your favorite part of the comic, or do you like something else the most now?
> I listed several things and still hold by them all. The author has added enough characters to keep things varied without being overwhelming.
Who is your favorite character and why?
> Sandra! … with Woo as a close second. 🙂 She is young enough to take things like a talking raccoon in stride, but old enough to hold a reasonably sophisticated view of the world around her. Unlike Woo, it is almost easy to think of Sandra as a ‘real’ person too.
Do you have a favorite story arc and/or a favorite single strip?
> I’ve been following Sandra and Woo long enough that I can’t ever remember them all. 🙂 “One of” my favorites is the single strip where Sandra is dreaming of “Prince” Cloud and wakes up with Woo.
You have read Sandra and Woo for many years now. Do you think the comic has changed in any way since the beginning?
> The story arcs seem to be longer and a little more serious, but overall there’s no major change. Art is still wonderful too!
Sandra and Woo is sometimes criticized for lacking focus. Is there an aspect of the comic that you’d rather get rid of?
> Nope! Sandra and Woo is a -comic-, not a graphic novel; I expect it to vary its focus.
Is there a topic you’d like to see getting addressed in a longer story arc?
> Nothing specific. I read Sandra and Woo for thoughtful entertainment and enter each new arc with open eyes.
What are your wishes for the future of Sandra and Woo?
> A long and happy life!
Is there any other webcomic which you’d like to recommend to our readers?
> Several! How many do you want? 🙂 Precocious, TwoKinds, Red’s Planet, Furry Experience, Faux Pas, and Gunnerkrigg Court are the one’s I follow that I think might be most interesting to Sandra and Woo readers.

> Keep up the good work, Novil and Powree! I have no complaints about how you’ve done things in the past and anticipate nothing but the best in the future!
