- Sign: C.I.A. headquarters
- Williams Cloud: Looks like we’ve finally caught you, wretched terrorist!
- Williams Cloud: Now you better come clean, Sandrine. Otherwise, we can get very unpleasant.
- Dr. Larisa Kropotkin: And don’t even think about escaping!
- Ben Jones: Zzz
- Sandrine West: I’m thinking of virtually nothing else.
- Dr. Larisa Kropotkin: Rats.

Of course, Larisa is bad cop.
You can tell she really wanted to see Sandrine try to escape.
Funny thing is, from what I read CIA made a lot of utter mess and mistakes (deposing fairly elected presidents, paying drug lords, training and arming al Qaeda, etc etc) so this particular comic is pretty hilarious for me.
Also Larissa as one of the CIA? Oh no the world had turn upside down!
Oh boy the third panel 8D
Proof that children invented role play gaming. Kids have been making up their own stories for centuries. All game developers did was move the concept to a different medium. 🙂
Ben Jones. My tax dollars at work, people
Oooookeeeey……. Now here’s a story arc with potential!!!!

that’s Dr. Larisa Kropotkin to you, citizen!
I didn’t get this until I realized she wasn’t handcuffed…
Then I realized that my logic is stupid, because she could have escaped even with handcuffs…
Then I wondered why Cloud sheathed his gun…
and THEN I realized that Sandra and Cloud actually wanted Sandra to escape, and that’s when I got the comic for real.
I kinda hope the “unpleasantness” will involve Mr. Cloud “punishing” Sandrine with tickles. Is that weird?
@ Delta-v:
Then added a lot of (slightly unwanted) complexity.
Well this explains how Terroist get past the CIA.
Twist: Larisa is a spy for the KGB.
Not actually a twist. There is always a spy for the KGB.
Ergo, twist: The spy is Cloud.
Some of you may argue that the KGB doesn’t actually exist any more.
Not actually a valid argument. The KGB is eternal.
@ Marvelous TK:
Actually, I was going to argue Cloud isn’t Russian while Larisa is.

Which is exactly why he WOULD be the double-agenf
@ Pikadusk:
Yeah, that’s why the twist is it’s Cloud. It’s not a twist if you expect it!
@ Marvelous TK: The Cloud is a Spy!
No. No rats. Rats are yucky.
Actually, what leaped to my mind was the caption from a cartoon that ran in the ’70s: insurgents are overrunning the palace of a banana republic’s dictator … and he angrily tells the lead revolutionary, “You fool — I’m CIA, too!”

Why? She can legally blow things up and even gets paid for it.

“The world has turned upside down!”
To quote Ed Wood: “Haven´t you ever heard of suspension of disbelief?”
I do not get the joke, but I have an overall good feeling for this arc. Kids being Kids, but with some spice thrown in from an adult writer has worked great so far.
That’s what you get for cheap security!
This seems like it has potential, for one it’s quite a funny arc by the looks of it, somewhat like the detective ones… I can’t wait for any double agent or counter attack plot twists, it’s the CIA it’s gotta happen really.

The spy is a cloud. Nobody ever suspects clouds. Always lurking overhead, watching, waiting, judging your every action.
Plot twist: Sandra is the agent investigating corruption within the CIA itself.
No one expects the Spanish CIA!
Wait just a minute. that guy sleeping… Is that… Isn’t he from. GAIA!!
