- Lily: Aww, isn’t it adorable how Vega is trying to cause life-threatening injuries to your vital organs?
- Sid: I’m deeply moved.

That’s cute, but oddly terrifying.
Bad Vega.
Sid is friends not food.
Aww, she likes you(r flavor)!
I said it before, I’ll say it again: how concerned should I be that my nephew does this exact same thing?
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
I don’t know. How closely are you, or your nephew, related to Sawney Bean?
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
I’m going to be an uncle this September. I’m wondering the same thing.
Seems pretty normal to me.
I love how eating_sid is a tag.
She truly has the qualities of a Street Fighter… or a Mortal Kombatant.
Lily seems just a tad creepy here.
It’s not Vega’s Fault.
Lily has been reading to the Kits from “The Raccoon’s Guide to Gourmet Meals”.
I think Vega is looking for milk!
She’ll master the Scarlet Terror soon enough. Getting her paws on a proper mask might be a bit tricky….if Daddy didn’t have access to Ebay.
@ Blitzkrieg1701:
He gnaws on talking squirrels? I’d be concerned. 🙂@ SeanR:
This is made a little less cute by the knowledge that predators attacking larger prey tend to go for the crotch for maximum damage.
This is one thing Sandra and Woo is awesome at; making brutality cute.
@ Crystalgate:
Wooooord. Btw You can litteraly see on his face that by now he’s used to it. Great work powree!
May thee odds be in your flavor.
Remember Vega, it’s not anything you said or did. The shame and blame belongs to Uncle Sid!
uuuuugh, she’s like these moms who say “aren’t they the most precious things?” while their spawn of satan kids roam around a wreck everything >_<
…okay, Vega’s targeting Sid’s belly in panels 1 and 3. That makes sense, there are juicy viscera in under the ribcage. But what benefit is there to pulling in the scruff of his neck? Is it an attempt to tear away flesh for a clearer shot at the spinal cord?
@ Disloyal Subject:
She’s a kit. She hasn’t had any training yet.
Also, If I was Sid, I would stop coming over for a good long while.
@ Disloyal Subject:
Yup and from that position, he can’t dislodge her very easily.
@ Disloyal Subject:
There is a Reflex in many animals left over from KitHood, puppuyhood, whatever that causes them to momentarily Freeze when grabbed by the Scruff of the neck.
in very Young animals it keeps them from wriggling loose when the Mother is carrying them from one nesting location to another.
.
Because if Mom is Moving them, chances are good it’s because Something is trying to Eat the kids.
So, Hold Still and Behave when she grabs that Scruff.
I doubt seriously most raccoons catch even one squirrel in their lives. Fish, frogs, and crayfish are much easier prey.
While raccoons will occasionally kill and eat larger mammals and birds, they much prefer easier prey such as amphibians, fish, crustaceans and bird eggs. They also like dumpster diving, easily opened trash cans and pet food left outside.
@ Orio:
Even better… there’s four pages of content on that tag now.
Aww, poor Sid already being eaten by Woo’s children. x3
As a mother racoon, she aught be proud! Some pups need nudging, while others leap right out of the proverbial nest..taking chances and making reckless mistakes. The boys may be a little slow on the uptake there, but I see a good leader in the making.
Huh, making friends with racoons trying to eat you really brings out the snark, huh?
I hope I can see Lily’s dad again in the future. I wanna see his reaction about his grand-children.
Sometimes I wonder if Lily still wishes to consume Sid, but only refrains from doing so for Woo’s sake.

Once again that depends on how old he is.
