Green = dead; red = safe. Is this some commentary on Apple’s color choices, or red/green color blindness, or what?

I would assume something along the lines of Green=Force of Good which angels are usually associated with while Red=Force of Evil in which the devil is usually associated with. It took Larisa a minute to flip her thinking.

Confused, but I’m guessing the Angels have manipulated the data to show the opposite.
I can think of three possibilities for the color scheme.
• 1 The Devil would probably use red as his color anyway.
• 2 Red is good and green is bad in some cultures. The Chinese stock market for example. (Unless it has changed since I noticed several years ago.)
• 3 The angels have messed with the device more than most of us thought… :O

Could explain why the whole map is green, because no matter where Sandra is standing, it really doesn’t matter as much as what Larisa, Lucifer and Steve do.
See, now that’s just poor interface design. Especially if you’re colorblind, now that I think about it.

Assuming green is bad it sounds like they are going with a meteor strike or Rod from God.
Why’d they even do all the programming and stuff if it tells you that nowhere’s safe?! Heck, can’t you just take her to hell temporarily? I think that’s off-limits or something to the angels.

As some nice people already mentioned, since the angel are good and demon king Satan is bad, green is death and red is life, i know i know, life sucks, so does vaccum cleaner and black hole but they are necessary, well atleast black hole is.

Like seriously, if you don’t know where my destination is, don’t try and take me somewhere you don’t know and expect I’ll be able to find it by walking around. So annoying.

Plot twist: God knows how they’re thinking and using reverse reverse psychology. Green actually means safe and red means death. And by making them think it’s the other way around they are about to bring her to the very place she’s supposed to die…
So… Did no-one else notice that there’s a small “safe zone” on the map that’s 27m underground, but the rest of the 27m underground area isn’t safe?
Sure, it doesn’t explicitly say that, but the map is showing at least 27m down and still only has a “little” red spot?

Well, yes. This only means they have at least one backup plan that’s capable of reaching Sandra underground, say, an excavator running on a faulty autopilot. This doesn’t mean the entirety of the underground will be annihilated, only that they can plausibly reach whichever one point Sandra is hiding.
Maybe they could just open a portal to hell and knock Sandra out until she beckomes invulnerable?
Come to think of it, what’s Steve Jobs doing mentioning details? From what I’ve heard of him, he was all about coming up with great ideas whose obstacles and problems other people had to solve.
@ Demarion: Well he was also very much concerned with details when it came to the design. The actual implementation of technology he wasn’t usually interested in, but he spent a lot of time in the design department making minute changes to the design. Like the squarish circle that used to be on the home buttons of iPhones. They apparently spent a lot of time getting the right shape.

Honestly both. 🙂 I’ve had bad experiences with GPS devices; once went in a triangular path three times before I reset the thing. I’m glad I never tried Apple Maps. Also, “Devils in the details” after I had watched GIGA! DRILL! BREEEEAAKKERRRRRR! 😀

I still favor telling Cloud’s mom and sister. The divine smack down that would occur because of doing so would be legendary. First the angels would get a beating, then their boss.

why do everyone think Mortal can take on angelic beings? It don’t matter how bad ass you are, when the opponent can literally wipe the world with a push of a button, i think ya out of your league.
