- Sandra: There’s just no denying it, Cloud.
- Sandra: Although we’re going in the same direction, we seem to be moving farther and farther apart.
- Sandra: I wish we could get together again. I wish I could shatter this invisible wall between us.
- Sandra: But I guess the owner of this maze wouldn’t like that very much.

Kids… You should not get separated in the first place if you going to regret it later…
You had me worried for a sec!
Well, he *did* complete the maze without her, I’d say that qualifies for divorce.
Yes! The terrible story arc is gone, and the comic is funny again! Yay!
Uh… how about Cloud just get out and enter again, since… y’know… the exit is pretty close…? -_-;
Cloud should be able to find her easy, he’s an RPG hero after all, those always have mazes.
Myself, I prefer the Dungeon bypass option. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DungeonBypass
No problem.
Woo can just follow Cloud’s scent-trail.
Larisa: *steps through the invisible wall* *starts smooching Cloud*
Sandra: D-:
>:=)>
Nice, I actually laughed out loud for this one. Ok, it was just a snicker, but it was out loud. And I don’t often do that for webcomics.
Good one!
Years ago my wife and I were in bed, not quite asleep, when our MaxieCat (black tuxedo) crawled under the covers. I turned to her and said “Dear, I hate to tell you, but something dark and strange is coming between us…”
She forgave me.
Was this inspired by Pokemon?

I guess no one taught Sandra the universal technique for solving a maze.
That’s some good misdirection there.
@ Van:
They’re too young to have learned the ancient technique from the Windows 95 screensaver.
Please don’t let this be foreshadowing for them breaking up for real. :,(
lol. This feels like a Friday 4Koma type of webcomic.
Don’t you know, you never split the party!
Seems like the Perfect place to fill with mimes.

…and then a Killer Digger breaks into the glass maze… 😛
Ba-dum, TSSS!
You almost got me!
You were trolling us pretty hard there with the first three panels.
Cloud had the minimap/wiki page open. 😉
@ Crestlinger:
Or Mines! (Hello Mineturtle!)
@ Greenwood Goat:
yeah that is quite close to her real nature and abilities, i mean it.
Had me worried there for a sec.
Then she punches through the glass, only for it to reform, cutting off her arm.

Do you mean the truly universal technique like DFS or the simpler technique only working for 2D mazes with enter and exit outside (which, granted, is likely the case here) called “right hand rule”?
I wonder how long it will take until all of you stop complaining about the last story arc. I’m sure the author has noticed by now that it wasn’t to your taste. Jeez… -.-
showing my age but there was a theme park near me that had glass( Clear plastic/mirror maze. as a attraction.
OMG always look on the floors, never on the walls.
See, this is why diamonds are a girl’s best friend.

@ Xezlec:
Indeed, cruel trolling from the author!
Am I the only one who figured out that the first three panels were leading up to a twist punchline?
@ KillerOh:
Look again. BOTH have another wall of glass between them an Exit/Entrance. Cloud actually has a fast way out, but a) seeing that is hard, and b) Sandra is still not close to the entrance, it’s quite possible going the other way is faster.
Ohthankgod! You evil wonderful person! WE HAVE FUNNY AGAIN!
@ Gatekid3:
I know what you’re referring to!! I was thinking of the same thing when I read this strip.

Wow, nice call back there.
@ norman728:
There’s a semi permanent one installed outside the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. Good fun, especially in 100+ degree weather!
I think someone should have a serious talk with Luna for creating such a maze…Hehe.

Clearly, Sandra agrees. The owner of the maze, not so much.

I once made a dungeon in which goblins had two entrances to their lair inside a bear cave. Because they wanted to keep the bears out, they arranged for each entrance to have two gates in series, only one of which could be open at a time. From either side you could flip a lever that would switch which gate was open on the other side. As a result, no one could enter the lair without splitting up the party.
I thought it would make a fun, five-minute puzzle for them to solve. Instead, after fifteen minutes of arguing (and never splitting the party) they gave up and smashed one of the gates to bits. *sigh*
I didn’t plan on writing a comment, but I would like to say that I liked the Divine Comedy as much as rest of the comics, it is good to have not only laugh, but a bit of more complicated history from time to time too ^^
Likewise I enjoyed reading the Divine Comedy story arc (as I’ve enjoyed all the other stories). My only regret is that Larisa doesn’t remember that she sold her soul, and why.
People suggesting Cloud should just leave and enter again seem to have overlooked the fact that there’s a wall between Sandra and Woo and the Entrance – they probably lost each other somewhere in the middle of the maze 😉
That said – I only know of distorted-mirror mazes – are there really ones that are completely made out of glass? (Because I’d think they’d take a looong way to clean at the end of the day, with people constantly grabbing the walls or running into them or something like that)
And finally: Oh boy, that’s some grown-up talk. They really do seem to be growing up a bit – how old are they now? (Anyway, as much as I found the divine comedy nice, I’m happy about new possible story arcs that migh wait just around the corner <3)
What I find funny is that Sandra claims that:
1. They started together.
2. They moved together.
3. They stayed as close to each other as possible.
4. She’s still at the entrance while he’s at the exit.
well i just finished binge reading all the comic strips thus far in 3 days
Close up on Sandra and Cloud; they are laying next to each other, both look disheveled. They stare ahead as if not wanting to face each other…
Cloud: It’s like we’re spinning around but going nowhere. 🙁 I’m sick to my stomach and feel our ride together must end!
Sandra: I can see the ground and feel as if we may fall! We have been circling each other for far too long, this will end soon. 😥
Sign: Ride the Gravitron!

Almost, and even then, he may not be aware the exit is just a u-turn away.
I definitely saw this coming though, and I approve of the chain of puns.
@ Breja:
I liked the story arc!
@ Van:
Is that the one where you put your hand down and don’t pick it up again?
