- Sandra: Oh, is it something to wear? Maybe a cute sweater?
- Cloud: He he he.
- Cloud: Everything will be fine, Cloud, everything’s gonna be just fine…
- Richard: Sandra, your grandpa wanted to say–
- Grandpa: What, for Heaven’s sake, is that?!!
- Sandra: Uhh, Cloud…
- Cloud … So this is what a near-death experience feels like.

Oh crap…
Both Sandra’s dad and grandpa got to see it. Well, at least they are both very chill people, so I assume they will resolve this in a non hysterical way and not do something dumb like involving the law enforcement.
That said, it looks like there are two pieces to the lingerie, one transparent top that’s laying on the chair and the bottom part that Sandra is holding. The time it must have taken (only seconds, but long enough) suggest that Sandra’s “Oh crap, gotta close the door!” reflexes are rather slow.
R.I.P. Cloud.
Every single face is a winner on this one.
Grandpa is just about to call out Cloud on his terrible taste in sexy lingerie and how out of fashion the model he picked is. Calling it.
Richard and Grandpa are going to freak, but as soon as Cloud mentions Larissa they’re going to understand what’s probably going on.
If Cloud is honest and tells Sandra he just wanted to give her something that makes her feel as beautiful as he thinks she already is, that might help mitigate some of the crapstorm that’s going to occur. Cloud knows he’s not ready to see Sandra in it, and Sandra knows she’s not ready to let him see her in it-they just have to convince Richard that Cloud’s not trying to jump their relationship too far too fast.
Richard! I am disappointed with you, always knock on the door before coming in. You might be Sandra’s father but basic manners apply to you too.
Well, at least Sandra got the rebelliousness out of her system before opening that present.
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

It was bound to happen.
Cloud you idiot! Your first reaction should have been to scream “I´m going to KILL Larissa!”.
That way, you would have instantly been free of all charges.
If you say it, AFTER they freaked out, it´s going to sound disingenuous.
You had enough time, to think up an emergency-plan like this.
>Near death experience
You’re a little optimistic there, Cloud.
@ oledakaajel:
It was inevitable

He hasn’t died yet, so he can’t speak to what a death experience is like.
Abort Cloud, Abort! See this is why you always look for alternative escape routes upon entering a room. Surely Ye Thuza taught you that much!
@ MidoriLuna:
True, but Ye Thuza also said she would decapitate him if he got Sandra pregnant.
So considering this is a lesser degree of something related, He may get 200 lashes from a steel-tip Cat-o-Nine-Tails.
Run, Cloud. Run and don’t look back. Run to MIDGAR.
Oh, he so dead.
Too bad, Cloud. A mercifull lightning strike, or a new Ebola strain that kills in half a second are your only way out.
Larisa, look at what you did, LOOK!

We know Sandra’s Dad at lease has a practical outlook on this issue, but we Don’t know her Grandpa’s stance on these issue, being chill in the way we’ve seen him so far does not necessarily correlated chill on this front especially with his generation.

Except She explicitly talked about getting her Pregnant, not having sex with her in general, She probably be fine with “lesser” playing around [assuming consensual]

Yeah, probably.
Cloud: I swear the devil forced me
It’s time to use your training, cloud
THIS IS WHY YOU DON’T LISTEN TO LARISA WHEN SHE MAKES THESE SUGGESTIONS
Y’know, there was SOOO much build up to Cloud giving Sandra sexy underwear, you’ve got to wonder; Was it just for this joke, or are we going to see Sandra in them at some point?
@ Titan:
Don’t hold your (bated) breath.
Oh dear god, my heart just stopped
@ Titan:
If we did, I’d probably leave. Unless she wears it as a hat in an attempt to save Cloud.
At least Cloud can blame Larisa for his impending death.
quick roll for diplomacy. a nat 20 is your only chance.
Cloud rolls nat 1……. well he tried. RIP
Everything is going according to plan. Sandra will break up with Cloud & Larisa will snatch him away:

Larisa: “…But if you dump him, he is mine!”
Welp, its wa snice knowing you, Cloud.
That moment when unmentionables become regrettables.
@ StarMech:
Cloud’s gone now, went up to the big city in the sky.
*sobs*
I knew this would end badly.
La petite mort est une grande expérience.
Well the answer “I asked Larisa for help” should work…
It calls down some question on your jugment…
I’ve seen Calvin make that exact face, Cloud. It doesn’t usually help much.
And this is how Cloud died!
Sprung bad!
Oh well, Hell will be a cake-walk after this.
HHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHA
What? She’ll grow into it.
@ MidoriLuna:
Indeed. situation like this the boy is destined to SUFFER. And then be marched at gunpoint to an abandoned field and being made to dig his own grave.
Maybe he’ll die, but then he has an extra guy ala Scott Pilgrim and get to do the day over again.
RIP
…yep.
And that cloud knew….he fucked up.😶

Not necessarily, but overall chill is more promising than not so chill. Couple that with the fact that it’s Richard who ultimately has the authority to handle this and I think the chances that they won’t escalate this situation is rather promising. Note that I don’t expect them to be chill about Cloud buying a lingerie for Sandra, just composed enough to not do something that will just worsen the situation.
Anyway, to something else. Some people here seem to think that Cloud should blame Larisa or otherwise try to escape responsibility. If Cloud does that, all he will accomplish is to worsen the situation, for himself and likely Sandra as well. Seriously, if a boy buys a sexy lingerie for his 13 years old girlfriend, how likely do you think it is that the girl’s parents will flat out forbid them to be together? Richard is not the shotgun talk and/or religious fundamentalist type of dad, but I don’t think Cloud should consider the risk to be zero. Cloud needs to not cause any further damage.
Timing, Cloud. We keep coming back to the importance of timing…
Panel 2 sealed fate.
Hopefully what her grandpa got her isn’t fragile.
