More Steins;Gate ^^
Ah story about how Larisa and Sandra met? niiiice.
I really love the attention to detail from one frame to the next.
How old is Sandra here? And Why is Larisa in a cemetery?
Oh I hope this will be as much fun as I think it will be.

Because without her being there, there would be no story arc.

These mile-high expectations are hard to satisfy.
Some supernatural shenanigans yet again… Or is it a flashback?
Been playing too much Breath of the Wild, cause I heard the music in my head in the scene transition of the 2nd and 3rd panels.
Looks like Sandra grows younger during this comic.

But then they’d have to be voice acted! In British!
I’m guessing flashback/back story. Sandra definitely looks like a littler girl than when we last saw her dealing with sexy lingerie.
@ oledakaajel:
Hopefully the reason is less disturbing than that of another blond braided artist girl who likes fire from another webcomic I read.
Ohh, flashback!

The Time Before Woo.
Do we add Smashmouths Walkin’ on the Sun to the Larisa playlist, or is it already in there?

It’s been there 3-4 years, depending on how old Sandra is.
Can I just say, that panel transition is just fantastic. I’m appreciating all the small details; the missing bushes and headstone, the slightly smaller trees; everything about the last two comics really has me anticipating this chapter.
Nah, I don’t dream of having a picnic on the sun, it was pretty boring, and all the food was burned. Plus, the scenery was relatively minimal and I forgot my sunscreen.
@ Commentary Ver.2.72:
Seriously, LOL.
I just randomly meowed help me

That is nothing to be ashamed of. It means you are evolving into a superior form.
Ohhh took me 3 minutes and the comments to figure it out… I wondered where Woo went. Then after some hints i noticed the height difference.
This is gonna be awesome I can feel it.
@ Hobbes:
+1 Mr. Tiger.

I don’t know what exactly most readers will expect from this arc. However, what I can say with almost certainty is that a lot of readers got a kick of nostalgia when seeing a younger Sandra. It will be interesting to see if this arc will satisfy that nostalgic desire.
Ah, flashback time.
How Sandra met and became friends with Larisa.
I wonder if she already has her Larisa-ness.
@ oledakaajel:
umm… it’s Larissa, our resident pyromaniac and unless Novil says otherwise, we should always assume she put someone
@ greyBear:
whoops i didn’t mean to post that
You could spend quite a lot of time going between the two center frames comparing the differences and still miss things. I’ve lost count. So very well done on the time shift. Bravo! I’m very intrigued as to where this arc is going to go.
Poor young Sandra. Meeting Larisa for the first time is due to be an itense expirience.
Vidad wrote:
I think it’s a flashback to when she first met Larisa (at least outside of school)
I wonder if she knew Cloud by then…
@ oledakaajel:
Well obviously Larissa is in the cemetry to dig up some graves so she can practice her necromancy.
How do you even have a picnic *on* the sun?
Though, with Larissa’s (and more generally this comic’s) track record, it’s perfectly possible.
MidoriLuna wrote:
Likewise!
BTW some of the grassy bits are identical between the two frames.
I have found your weakness, Novil. I am on to you now.
@ hellsheep:
Bah. I mean to say “Is that Larissa?”
I know where this is going…right in the feels.
@ CATS!!!!!!:
According to the tags, yes.
I NEARLY FLIPPED I LOOKED AT IT WITH NO GLASSES AND THOUGHT WOO HAD SIMPLY DISAPPEARED AND THIS WAS A BIG REVEAL THAT HE WAS ALL IN HER HEAD AND I ALMOST THREW SOMETHING AT THE SCREEN OMFG
Novil wrote:
Love the answer.
And I truly love the transition from panel 2 to 3. It’s so… beautiful.
After reading the comments and looking back at the comic, I’m surprised I missed the fact that she’s younger in the 3rd panel and some things were different. I had just noticed that Woo had disappeared, maybe to chase a lizard. I think I didn’t notice because I wasn’t expecting a flashback.
(and to anybody wanting to jump on the “I wasn’t expecting…” line, yes, I am expecting the Spanish Inquisition)
Sunlit area and the back of another. Thus flashback.
No transcript? Is this a mistake, or intentional?
@ Garrett Williams:
I guess the only reason why I noticed it right away was, because under the last strip we had the discussion, that Sandra looks older than before^^. So I was super excited tho see this strip
Hey, you there!
Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?
@ oledakaajel:
Assuming she already had her terminal condition, she might have been drawn to cemeteries as a kid.
Implord wrote:
I don’t think that’s how it works…
I would have liked more not to know that the other person is Larisa until the next strip.
On the sun? Are you friggin crazy? Oh wait…you’re the pyromaniac I keep hearing about…

When you are a daughter in a Russian-emigrated family who hasn’t yet got accustomed to peculiarities of English preposition usage, suggesting a picnic *on* the sun (*на* солнышке) is only natural.
Come to think of it, being *in* the Sun (15 million Kelvin at the center) is even worse for human beings than *on* the Sun (5700K in the photosphere).
@ Hobbes:
Well, I’m part wolf, part human, and part cat. I may or may not be part fox, I think I just make friends out of animals :3
Fly, Pupa, flyyyyyyyy! ::::)
