Could this possibly end in kitastrophe?
@ MidoriLuna:
Larisa taught Vega all about fire.
I think the worst case scenario is that Lily’s innate mother instincts get triggered.
Hopefully that doesn’t happen.
@ An “Average” High Schooler:
No. Worse case scenario is the kits choose that exact moment to show that they inherited Woo’s vocal skills.
Lily is going to kill them. Woo first, then Sandra.
I’ve got a bad feeling about this.
Oh, this can only go so well… What if his kits talk too?
Well, Lily will almost certainly kill you, and I don’t think raccoon kits are a good choice to liven up a party.
Certainty of death, small chance of success. What are we waiting for?

I doubt that will happen, but I’m still hoping someday we get some kind of explanation as to why Woo can speak human. We might not though. Novil might not be the type to explain things like that.
The Brave and the Bold.
Wait… which one is which?
Oh no. You’re making a mistake! Do sex, do drugs, do whatever you want; murder someone, I don’t care, but for the love of Woo, don’t bring the raccoon kits! I warned you, now if you meet your demise it’s not my fault! Turn away while you still have the chance! You are bringing destruction upon yourselves!
Lily would never let the kits out of her sight.
And she’d never go to a party with strange humans.
So it won’t happen.
Oh, whom am I kidding?
The kits will come.
Best case: some walls remain standing.
Worst case: one of the kits stubs a paw and Seeoahtlahmakaskay smites everybody.
@ Xezlec:
He doesn’t talk to any human other than Sandra so I’m pretty convinced it’s a Calvin and Hobbes thing.
@ Edda:
I guess?
@ Xezlec:
I just assumed Seeoahtlahmakaskay made Woo able to talk. (who else?)
I foresee Woo breaking his silence to prevent something bad happening.

He talked to the hunter.
“Look. A talking raccoon”
Careful now, it’s a small slope towards mondays panel 2…
Why are they in the “bath”room ?
Normally in comics, that is where girls meet girls.
Meeting a raccoon, you can do that in the kitchen, basement, outside, even in plain sight of other humans.
Though those might wonder what you’re doing with the beast.
Not sure raccoons are “cuddle” animals though.
If other party members misinterpret raccoon kits as “cuddle cute” and they aren’t, that will end in … claws, scratches …
If they are though (belly scratching), their mom might be jealous: those humans having soft hands and being appreciated “more” than mom by her own kits !
looks as if the house is going to get trashed after alll……and her dad will never believe that it wasn´t a crazy party but a bunch of racoon kids 😉
Oh that sure sounds like it can’t go wrong at all….
With Lily´s characteristic distrust of humans, this could end poorly….

Then you are wiser then the characters.
But we are talking baout a girl under 18 and a talking cartoon racoon, so maybe it is not that impressive 😉
Bad idea. As in Lily-will-kill-you bad idea.
No, guys, it’s build-your-own-raccoon kits!
@ MidoriLuna:
And what about the hunter in “Last Resort” “The Last Laugh” “Who Has The Last Laugh?” episodes? (The story is from [0244] to [0295].) Others can hear and understand him too!
I’m pretty sure all animals can speak human, not just Woo.
In fact, it seems they speak “human” among themselves, too. Just not in presence of stranger humans (unless they have a plan relying on the shock value).
So there’s no need to explain why Woo can talk and be understood by Sandra (or others), it’s just a thing in this universe.

If something goes as horribly awry as some comments suggest, I say they’re gonna feel more like Dumb and Dumber…
@ Senok13:
It’s not conclusive proof, since for all we know he actually did make the story up. Sure we the audience saw what Woo stated, and it coorelates to what the hunter stated, but as no real information passed between them it can’t really confirm that the hunter actually heard him speak.
Woo also talked during Under A Killer Balloon, quite extensively. However that story was likely made up by Sandra in the first place (again, referencing Calvin’s imagination) so the hypothesis still holds. But it’s not as if you *have* to agree with it, it’s just my general assumption when reading the comic.
@ MidoriLuna:
Frankly, I have no idea what was going on in Under a Killer Balloon.
@ MidoriLuna:
But then how would she have the anti mind control fedora for when Yethuza tries to use on her, in the Lady Munchousen page, if it wasn’t real?
@ Grathew:
My explanation would be that the gun and the hat are just props, and they were both just acting; with Ye Thuza playing along with the Sandy South storyline. Sandra is very expressive and detailed about her imaginary fantasies, it wouldn’t be too hard for her friends to know what props she uses and in what context they’re used.
I could’ve sworn it was canonically established somewhere by Novil that Woo speaks, and it’s not just her imagination. I also can’t remember where this was so I can’t link it… oh well.
Well, Lily did let Larisa play with their kits…
But that was one human as opposed to multiple humans.
@ Commentary Ver.2.72:
Was it this one?
No! I’m allergic to adorableness! *dies*
