- Larisa: What’s wrong, Zoey? Why are you lying there like that?
- Zoey: I’m dead.
- Larisa: Oh.
- Larisa: I’d be sadder if you’d been a nicer person in life.
- Zoey: Now I’m even more dead.

Murderedbywords award goes to Larisa.
@ Prezombie:
Also the Award for Savagery
We all wondered what will happen in this comic.
So what happened? A hilarious dialogue! 😀
I always liked Zoey. So many webcomics these days have their lesbians be, like, some sort of role model or…basically on the protagonist side. at least neutral. It’s kind of refreshing to see that, yeah, they can be antagonists just like everybody else.
Calling it now… It was actually Larisa that wrote with that colored pen.
Or she’ll pretend it was her.

No. Larisa would not have known that Zoey looks at the ballots. And even if she did, the act would have been too evil for her.
So wait….was Larisa just hanging out a few feet away during all of this?
Also, caught pen-handed Larisa. Everyone’s on to you.

Larisa just came into the room.
At least Zoey’s not trying to cremate her since she’s dead.
Calling it now, Larissa also voted for Taylor.
@ Commander Clash:
“Can I cremate you then?”
“No.”
“Pleeeease?”
“No!”
Metaphorically kicking her while she’s literally down.
The unchanging look of indifference in Larisa’s face on the last four panels were all priceless!
Larisa: Should I update your status on social media?
Zoey: Please. My smartphone’s in my pocket, all my sites are bookmarked or on apps and log in automatically.
Larisa: *locates, gets phone* Cause of death?
Zoey: Stabbed in the back… politically.

I’d say Zoey is not a lesbian in the comic. Michelle has (or had) a crush on Zoey, but as far as I remember Zoey has not been shown to be lesbian.
Larisa! You can’t just burn corpses like that. I’m pretty sure you need to get the proper paperwork in order before you start cremating people.
Also no reason to be mean, Zoey has been trying to get better. 😛 Which must be hard with Sandra going around being so silly she is literally looking for herself…
OMG! Larisa has no chill! NO CHILL!
@ Pere:
Wrong way round. Zoey is the lesbian here who like michelle, not Michelle.
Also Larissa burns anything anywhere. Even if it’s your self-worth.
Poor Zoey. I don’t ever remember her being very bad. Larisa is just being mean.
@ Warcraft-3-Player:
Well, that depends on how canon comic 709 was.
Pere wrote:
Nope, you got it the other way round, Zoey was the closet lesbian, Michelle was weirded out when she kissed her, just look up the pages with the Zoey tag 🙂
You can always count on Larisa to defuse a bad situation. Ironically.
She died to death.
@ Brijeka Vervix:
What? Zoey is Sandra’s bully. Larisa just give her to hard of a time for her to really enjoy her bullying.
But it is Sandra and Woo, so it’s not like mean spirited hurtful bullying, so perhaps it doesn’t leave quite a bad impression.
b>@ someguy:
But Michelle came to terms with it, didn’t she? I remember a strip about authors pandering to their readers or something like that. The last we knew, they were together.
Poor Zoey. =(
There are times I feel like Larisa is her truest friend, though.
Damn.
I have no words.
Damn.
NewEraOutlaw wrote:
More like her closest enemy.
Well 😀 this strip really misses any reference to the 622 strip…
Vote Sandra…
Commander Clash wrote:
… How can Zoey cremate herself?
Larisa knows just the right words to cheer people up!
@ Fex:
Zoey didn’t realize she was bullying Sandra, she thought Larissa was bullying her. She still finds Sandra weird and isn’t really her friend, but she doesn’t really bully her now. As for Michelle returning her feelings, that was a joke strip saying that just because the audience wants it doesn’t mean it will happen… Like that joke strip that said we can’t name Woo’s kits.
Come on Zoey… Look on a bright side… maybe Michelle didn’t vote for you because she is possessive and wants you all for herself and not as a class property…
Novil wrote:
Too evil? For a succubus-manager-in-training? Well, you’re the author, you get to decide these things.
Maybe I’m just more evil than anyone else here (since nobody else has suggested it), but for my money, truly evil would have been (assuming that Larisa had the pen to begin with) voting for Sandra. }:-)
But why Larisa didn’t nominate herself for a class rep?
…
There is probably a school law against in.
Fex wrote:
That was strip 709: http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2015/08/13/0709-pandering-to-the-audience/
But the point is, that was a most wonderful meta-comment for the shippers who wanted Michell and Zoey to become a pair, and as such one of the best strips in the comic, but no one seems sure about what that strip really told us about the girls. But I hope that Novil has kept us waiting long enough and that this arch eventually will be about something other than the election…
Leave it to Larisa to tell it like it is.
Here’s hoping from here on out, Zoey tries to be nicer.
I’v always liked her, and it’d be nice if Novil makes his characters dynamic…
Green-ink pen in panel 1.
Third panel should have had the subtitle “Finish Her”.
@ Arthur:
I don’t know, the comic treats Zoey like she’s the main antagonist of the series, but she never really seems to do anything that bad. Hell it’s usually Larissa that antagonizes her instead.
Larisa doesn’t even flinch
@ Novil:
Too evil for someone who already earned her seat in Hell’s board of directors?
Granted, Zoey is not her worst enemy.
@ ratfox:
lol Thank you, glad someone appreciates the genius of that.
@ MarqFJA87:
Sorry that wasn’t quite worded right
“At least Larisa isn’t trying to create Zoey since she’s(Zoey) “dead.”
Larisa Wins
Talkatality.
Another thing Sandra and Woo do so well: take a concept and take it to places we could not imagine. This whole election arc could end on Sandra’s sleepness night, but its getting more and more interesting. And funny. Congrats.
@ Greenwood Goat:
HA! I laughed to hard at that. “Stabbed in the back … Politically”
Wait… what if Larisa borrowed the green-ink pen? She didn’t write down Sandra’s name because of some external paraphernalia , or citing back to http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2018/01/29/0959-a-time-for-coolness/ with “more experiments in chemistry class” and “good grades for everyone”.
@ Siral:
“Paraphernalia,”, “more experiments! in chemistry class”, and “good grades for everybody”. Today was not my day for quotes…
As Don Henley said, “kick ’em when they’re up, kick ’em when they’re down, kick ’em when they’re up, kick ’em all around.”
