The Book of Woo: $500 prize money + wiki online again
In a couple of months, I will post the decrypted version of the The Book of Woo. But before that happens, you can still try yourself to decrypt it and win the prize money that I just increased to a whopping
$500
If you’re interested in the challenge, you should definitely check out the Book of Woo Wiki that is now online again thanks to our reader Chris. There, you can find pages about the following topics:
- Getting started
- Transliterations
- Facts about the encrypted text
- Analytical results
- Theories about the encrypted text
- Artwork interpretation
- Links and resources
You can find some additional information in this blog post: The Book of Woo – Revisited.
Send your decipherment attempt(s) to novil@gmx.de.
Really tempted to give it an honest attempt, but I really need to work 😛
Wow! I cant belive it has been (almost) 500 more strips since the book of Woo!
I love the idea of the Book of Woo and I hate to see the decrypted version just posted outright. Are you going to be giving hints as a lead up to posting it? I wonder if the fans could solve it with a big enough crib.
May we assume that Larisa’s dialogue (the raccoonish part at the end) in panel 6 of today’s strip translates to “lingerie”? Or would you prefer not to comment on it?
