Well, R.I.P. Cloud and Landon’s chances in the raid. It’s nice that they seem to be closer friends that has been shown thus far, although considering their girlfriends are best friends, it was bond to happen, I guess.

They wear bikinis that cover all the naughty bits, there is usually no reason to be ashamed of that if you are at a beach or a pool. It’s not like they are sexually posing to some random guys out there, even the pic itself is rather tame, Larissa is the only one with a somewhat teasing pose, otherwise it could just be a random holiday snapshot.
@ Walter:
Well, I suppose that’s possible too. Yeah, a racoon holding a phone camera and taking a picture. I suppose it won’t look out of ordinary in public. I’ll believe it.
On another note, if you observe carefully, Landon doesn’t seem to be blushing. Has Larisa influenced him so far that he won’t automatically blush on spot? Though his mental defense seems to be crumbling on the spot anyway.
In France on the beach I’ve seen plenty of girls of all ages (younger and older than Sandra and her friends) go topless. Nobody is bothered by this in France, expectations are very dependent on local culture. I have no idea if topless is acceptable at the pool in France, I’ve never been. I don’t go to the pool when on holiday.
Who took the photo?

There needs to be a huge, in-your-face reminder at all times that these characters are like 12/13 so people realise that before commenting
@@ clemandax:
they dont exactly look 12/13, im guessing that they are somewhat slowly aging in this comic as there have been several birthdays involved though not as fast as we are. @Novil would probably be able to explain it better as its his universe. seeing how some story arcs like that one where larisa sells her soul to save sandra the entire arc took like 2 months in our universe to play out but only took like 2-3 hours in their universe.

I don’t understand what you mean by this. What exactly are you referring to?
So what else is new?
@ PS2kid:
In Western Culture, the only shame that is attributed to the body is that it doesn’t meet rigorous social standards (thin, no blemishes, scars, etc). What these girls are wearing isn’t that promiscuous and covers the appropriate areas.
As for these girls, they are around 14 and therefore are dressing in rather age appropriate swimsuits. Teenage girls sprout like weeds and often full piece swimsuits are too short for their torsos, making two pieces a more practical option. Luna’s is considered quite conservative whilst Sandra’s is a rather common choice for girls her age.
Larissa’s might be a little old for her age, but do not forget her illness that will kill her by the time she’s in her 30s. In her opinion, she’s got a lot of living to do in a very small amount of time, so she acts much older than she is.
And that is why you never say “nothing can stop us.”
Allright guys and girls, thank you for your answer. However I would like to ask one more thing. If bikini is considered normal for preteens in western world, how come there are parents that still not allowed their girl to swim in it. In fact, I knew some parents prefer for the kids to dressed up in a full body swimsuit that covered everything. And no, it’s not because the religion factor or ethnicity.
Sorry for asking too much, but I really want to know the thoughts behind it.

As far as I remember, once we boys got over the “eww, girls are gross and silly”-phase and developed interest for them, seeing girls our age that we personally knew (half)naked was many times more interesting than looking at some anonymous porn pics – plus it is not only the pic here, but the invitation to come join them at the pool and enjoy the sight live.
Also, considering that the two guys are Larissa’s and Sandra’s boyfriends, they practically have no other option than to take the bait – or shoud they really dare to tell their teenage girlfriends: “Meh, your half-naked bodies are not that interesting, we rather play video games.”
Sound strategy to play to their weakness. Their reproductive organs seem to have a deciding vote.
Landon has probably seen more of Larisa, a succubus in training, in private, and is winking at him.
She’s also the most developed, though Sandra is coming along nicely. Cloud probably has a stronger reaction now than in the curse of 12 year old boys, and who can blame him?
Luna wins the DFC award.

As an American I can tell you that there is a very wide range of what is considered “normal” or “acceptable” here. Just because lots of people are doing something doesn’t mean that everyone has to or is expected to do so. People can also get very protective of their children, so while it doesn’t necessarily offend or shock them to see other children in bikinis they don’t want their children wearing them for any variety of personal reasons.
To be clear, this isn’t limited to just clothing – in the States just about anything is open for debate and parental enforcement. Growing up (through high school) I had friends who weren’t allowed to: eat sugar, eat meat (different levels of terrestrial, avian, or aquatic), eat anything that came from an animal (vegan), play video games, read non-fiction, read books with magic in them, drink soda, use profanity, watch cartoons, watch rated R movies, use the internet after 10pm, play first person shooters, wear bikinis, go swimming with the opposite gender in general, go camping (dude’s parents were scared of the woods or something, it was strange). And the list could go on, point being that as kids it seemed like most everyone had some random thing they had to do differently than the rest of us and you just learned to work around it.
The only real consistent thing is that parents are expected to raise their children in the manner they think is best. So long as they aren’t doing something that is provably negligent or harmful they’ll be allowed to do so. This of course leads to all kinds of discussions/arguments between parents about what is best for their children. As well of course of the children testing just how far they can push things. Seemed like every couple of years in school there’d be some new clothing debate about what was appropriate and what wasn’t (boys in super baggy clothing, girls in clothing that was too tight, sweats/pajamas, et cetera) in which people could be surprisingly passionate about on all sides.

Totally random, but the little boy really reminds me of the brother from Log Horizon, who gets trapped in a video game and learns from the players who were leading raids for years…
@ PS2kid:
It could also come down to environment as well. I’m from Australia, so the sun is very VERY harsh here. You will get sun burnt if you are out in the sun for 15 minutes without protection. You see a big spectrum of swimsuit styles as well. What a TEEN wears often comes down to three things: what their parents will allow, what they are planning on doing, and how much effort they want to put in.
Like Random Poster said, there are various spectrums of what different parents allow. Coming from a country where the beach is a major part of our lifestyle, seeing people in various kinds of swimsuits doesn’t phase us. It’s rather normal no matter how much skin is showed. What is really frowned upon is something that is see through, shows an excessive amount of cleavage or resembles racy underwear.
What they plan on doing has a big impact too. If they plan on light swimming and sunbathing, they can wear whatever. If the plan is going surfing, rash shirts are a must.
And effort into sun care. Skin cancer is a ligitimate danger here and so we all take precautions. It’s a weigh up into how much effort you want to put in. If you want to wear a bikini, you speak alot of time putting on sunscreen, making sure you don’t miss a spot. Or you out on a rash shirt and board shorts and just get your limbs.
It’s all down to personal choice.
@Conspicuous Joke If you’re reading this, you can see for yourself Sandra’s breasts have been growing instead of shrinking.
Who can blame them for choosing their girlfriends, in bikini, above computergames?
Nice to see the differences between the characters.
Larisa is supercomfortable, Sandra somewhat comfortable and Luna not too comfortable.
Cloud blushes a lot while Landon, who is probably used to Larisa, somewhat.
Cloud and Landon hang out? I had the impression that they only did so due to their girlfriends being best friends.

Paeris Kiran wrote:
Well, the PICTURE surely won’t go anywhere, but the opportunity to hang out with the girls in bikinis in real life will … you know, that weird sim with lots of boring filler content where you don’t have a screen. 😉 I guess that’s why serious gamers are often stereotyped as nerdy loners who either never have touched a girl or are together with a likewise nerdy gamer girl. Not intending to imply that said cliche would apply to anyone here.

The webcomic’s creator doesn’t wish to end up on one of those really weird lists for assigning a tag to “13-year old-boy’s penis”.
