[1087] Cloud’s Stash

- Larisa: And here’s my gift.
- Cloud: Thank you, Larisa.
- Larisa: It’s probably not something your mom or your nosy little sister should see, though. Do you have a secret stash or something?
- Cloud: Not that I ever used it, but there’s this loose board…
- Larisa: I was thinking more of a steel chest in an abandoned fallout shelter, locked by a Bowley padlock, model 543.
- Cloud: I’m appalled, yet curious…!
- Yuna: Don’t listen to her! The cupboard is an excellent hiding place!
Is that Yuna or Ye Thuza behind that door?
Also… for the first time ever: First.
@ Egomane:
Answered.
That’s a oddly specific padlock, definitely a good choice though
This. This is why I never bothered keeping illicit things while growing up. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft or skills she has, but she ALWAYS found them out O_o.
@ Peter Fox:
Novil maybe watching LockPickingLawyer a little too close.
@ quark1020:
I mean, I just ended up getting caught over and over. I viewed it as the natural consequence of having both secrets and parents/siblings.

You know the secret was to keep you room clean enough that you parent had no excuse to clean it for you, and do your own laundry.
I am thinking when he does get around to opening it:
Hmm, this just has pictures of women wearing weird little clothes, or just standing around naked. I can see more than this on the Internet, especially since Dad picked a pretty easy password for NetNanny. I guess it is the thought that counts, Larisa.

Ah… But what if it’s not just some nude pictures of some random women? What if Larisa, who does have some artistic skills, has created a painting of Sandra. And I’m sure I don’t have to explain what kind of painting she probably would have made…
But it would be a well-done one . . .
I think this is purely Yuna bait, and the real present is already given and well-hidden. Otherwise why would they be talking this loud within earshot of Yuna?
Weird. I never got any hint that my stash was found out, though my local and remote decoy stashes were full of evidence, plus not-so-subtle references to what I was hiding there.
See I never had this problem because unlike Cloud any of my less than legit goods were kept in place OUTSIDE my household. Granted my dad’s policy of “as long as you’re not brought in by the police you’re all right”, usually helped matters.

Is it weird that I thought pretty much the same thing?
Of course the quickest cure for a snoop is to troll them to the point where anything that they actually Do find that you don’t want them to will be laughed off as an ‘almost got me’ gag.
@ Anonymoudds:
LockPickingLawyer is quite relaxing to watch!
Well, color me curious.
A condom variety pack?
Loved the muffled voice effect on the door on the last speech bubble.
I had not seen LockPickingLawyer before, spent an hour watching now. Thanks fellas! 🙂
*Facepalms* Way to be subtle Yuna. I think she needs to invest more points in her stealth skill.
Monopoly should stay buried.
Monopoly is so bad… nobody would dare to search behind it…
I love it when the transcript gives us more information.
I am impressed and apalled, I am impalled!

Now I’m really curious what Larisa’s gift is.
My guess would be a “special” painting of Sandra.
We can easily take it several photos and videos were made in the waterpark.
@ Phil:
Depicted in an Adam cosplay 🙂 but surrounded by flames like an avenger angel?
My guess is it’s something entirely innocent and wholesome, almost embarrassingly so, but Larissa wants it to be kept private so she can maintain her reputation.
Yuna: Listen to but don’t investigate the voice behind the door.
@ Egomane:
Probably both.
Given Yuna’s created miniature black holes, pretty much any hiding place she’s aware of would likely be insufficiently secure…
