- Hitomi: <Mr. North is very grateful for being allowed to spend the night in our house.>
- Father: <I should hope so!>
- Hitomi: Now that at home, please understand that Hitomi will not be maid anymore. Hitomi loves working as maid. But maid not only who Hitomi is!
- Richard: I understand completely!
- Richard: So… how would you like to be seen?
- Hitomi: Cat girl!

Things are getting complicated, and I wonder who that guy is in the first frame…? Her father, brother or husband? The answer has a potential to add to the level of complexity, but surely Novil is enjoying himself! 🙂
I would mention that every dollar spent on virtually anything is dollar not spent on creating genetically engeniered cat girls for domestic use…
Huh… for a moment, I thought she was a “gyaru” outside her maid work…
That works too…
Just marry her already Richard! Hahahaha~
I mean… if that’s an option.
@ Paeris Kiran:
To be fair, we still need to eat while waiting for those.
@ Paeris Kiran:
Don’t care, spending my dollars on D&D minis, in game purchases, and genetically engineering foxgirls for domestic use.
@ Marteri:
Given the direction in which this story arc is heading, I guess he is *not* her husband, maybe nor her father…

Seconded!
I mean… if a vote would even affect the outcome.
Most likely the guy is a brother, or brother-in-law.
Elon Musk: ….TELL ME MORE.
That’s it. This is officially fanservice.
I’m not complaining, mind you, just observing.
@ Thisguy:
Can we get some foxboys as well?
@Syaoran
Of course, otherwise it would be prohibitively expensive to maintain a stable, let alone expanding, population of foxgirls. Same argument applies for catboys, as well, actually.
Nyahahahaha!
So long as there is a person under the personas and she isn’t using them to hide/repress her self, all good.
I gotta say, I love how her English is written. It’s imperfect, without out being stereotypical Engrish, like she’s spent a lot of time working on it, but hasn’t quite mastered it.
Though, to be fair, I know plenty of native English-speakers who haven’t quite mastered it, either.

Boy howdy, that’s for sure!
While all this is going on, all I can think about is “who is looking after Sandra?”
If I had but one advice for Richard it’d be : Back away slowly.
On the other hand, I was fearing a HELLO KITTY cosplayer. There is still room for worsening here.
Question: what is the appeal of catgirls? I’ve never understood that, and someone else in the comments called this fanservice which must mean that it is something at least some find appealing as an observer.
I ain’t none too sure ‘bout most folks what don’t get their English properly fixified.
But hey!
What all I know, right?
That jerrie what draws this com-mick might be onta something, y’think?
@ TimesNewLogan:
😏
@ Bedinsis:
There are comparatively few interests that make logical sense to anyone who does not share those interests. Those who dislike horror movies don’t understand why there are people who want to watch people suffer a violent fate. Those who dislike cute things can’t see the appeal in partaking in anything to do with rainbows or small animals. Athletes can’t comprehend why nerds would choose to stay inside on a nice day. Nerds can’t comprehend why athletes find exhausting themselves fun. It’s just another item on the list.
@ The_Squished_Elf:
Yeah, sure! Equal opportunity and all that.
@ Syaoran:
Yeah, sure! Equal opportunity and all that.
Prediction : This is a dream or a false reality.
I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop, here. As it is, she’s too precious.
@ Suomynona:
Well, I wouldn’t be as pessimistic. Even I’m not into something like cat girls, I can still understand how that works. I’m this case: cats are fluffy and cute and want to be petted. Cat girls are therefore girls with which we associate exactly these properties. Properties that are easy to enjoy as a man. This the concept is popular.

Woo, of course.
Which raises another question. What happens when a cat and a racoon meet?
KAWAIIIIII!!! 😀
And then I fell in love.
Well, could’ve been worse. After all, his last love interest was a praying mantis-girl.
I have confirmation from a friend who lives in Japan that it’s only like this on alternate Fridays.
”Run to the hills”
Run for your life”
Fortunately there is no lack of hills in Japan
Yay!
She’s getting better and better
I hope that Richard doesn’t have a sudden attack of previously unmentioned and unexplored hate/allergy of cats. At least cat girl is a more probable, more widely known Japanese (costume? character? in-joke?) then racoon-girl.
Unless it’s Meanwhile Back Home, and Sandra’s trying on clothes from the back of her closet.
@ Suomynona:
People who watch horror movies don’t necessarily like them because they want to see others suffering awful/violent fates. There are tons of horror movies without violence. Most people that like horror movies like them because of the feeling of thrill they can give. Usually the better horror experience would come from horror games (thrill and fear factors much greater due to the higher immersion).
Well that’s creepy.
@ wasd:
I don’t think that “the reason why people watch horror movies” was the point or focus of his post, it was just an example, but alright lol
@ James Kern:
@ AnotherBear:
You guys are dorks, and I love you for it.
Surprisingly, no one seems to have picked up on the implications of “Cat Girl” and what may be coming up next.
We’ve been shown the ears and paws but, at a minimum, there also has to be a tail. A tail does NOT go with an ankle length dress so the current dress is out. In fact, a tail goes best without anything or, at most, something very skimpy. Hitomi is not just saying HOW she wants to be seen but is saying how much MORE of her she wants seen.
Then, of course, there’s behavior. Cats like to rub and be rubbed.
In other words, FAN SERVICE !!!
I looked at the last panel first.
@ Anonymous Alias:
Larissa?
OMG she is the COMPLETE package.
Rig Richard, give her a ring already
This strip gives me flashbacks to Bo Peep Bo Peep from T-Ara back then ~nyao
…So long as she’s not a catgirl-type from Something Positive, we’re golden.
is this a Megatokyo remake

Sandra’s thirteen, maybe fourteen by now.
She’ll be fine for a few days. Especially since she seems to be rather independent anyway.

Absolutely, and there are the grandparents and Cloud’s family as a backup if needed. She probably think this is a great opportunity to wear her own maid-costume at home now… 🙂
