- Psychiatrist Zox: Well, that was quite a story! But I can assure you that there are no humans on Zogonia III.
- Commander Xul: Probably not…
- Psychiatrist Zox: And, of course, it’s also completely out of the question that a few humans hid themselves in one of our ships and flew all the way back to Xaxon. That’s just not something humans would do.
- Psychiatrist Zox: There’s also no evidence whatsoever that these humans conceal their true form with Hixo’s shapeshifting rings.
- Psychiatrist Zox: Only a fool would therefore believe that the invaders have infiltrated our research facilities and are now just waiting for the right moment to fly back to Earth and hand over the stolen technology to their brothers.
- Psychiatrist Zox: Yes, only a fool would believe such a thing.
- Psychiatrist Zox: I wonder what General Klok would do if I told him that one of his commanders had such crazy thoughts?!
Poor guy. Larisa was only the first step into horror . . .
Do they walk amongst us, or are you just gullible? You’ll never know.
Take off your ring, doctor. It would set my mind at ease.
Alien Planent – Receipe X:
Whoops All Disguised Humans!
I want to see what happens when Mephistopheles meets the Gray. =^,^=
That’s shapeshifted Larisa, isn’t it.
Ok come on… At this point I would expect Larisa´s soul to shine brighter in the Warp then the Astronomicon itself, burning all xenos and heretics alike…
Why do I hear the Predator theme in my head now when reading this page XD

Well, not until they reveal themselves.
A fool… or someone who knows the truth and who is ridiculed as a fool.
Suspiciously specific denials
Either “WE ARE EVERYWHERE HAHAHA”, or he’s just a jerk. Poor Xul will never know.
‘Commend him for findng out the truth that can be used as evidence to start a purge. Beginning with you!’ *Bzzzt!
Clearly, these aliens have different standards regarding doctor-patient confidentiality.
People commented about the ring – but no one has seemed to mention that he’s ALSO exhibiting a lot of Larisa’s body language when she was the “experiment.”
@ Nikary Flare:
my thoughts exactly – only she can radiate so much evil smugness!
Good old Larisa, sowing fear, uncertainty, and doubt wherever she goes.
He’d think his shipboard psychologist is very unprofessional. Then tell security to search the ship for humans.
Clearly, General Klok would say “He knows too much!”, and have the Commander executed.
Xul should really take this opportunity to say “I didn’t have these thoughts of my own accord! The human girl said things and they’ve been rambling around in my head! Why do you think I booked a therapy session?!”

My guess too! 🙂
They all laughed at Christopher Columbus
When he said the world was round
They all laughed when Edison recorded sound
They all laughed at Wilbur and his brother
When they said that man could fly
They told Marconi, wireless was a phony
It’s the same old cry
They laughed at me wanting you
Said, I was reaching for the moon
But oh, you came through
Now they’ll have to change their tune
They all said, we never could be happy
They laughed at us and how
But ho, ho, ho
Who’s got the last laugh now?
They all laughed at Rockefeller Center
Now they’re fighting to get in
They all laughed at Whitney and his cotton gin
They all laughed at Fulton and his steamboat
Hershey and his chocolate bar
Ford and his Lizzie kept the laughers busy
That’s how people are
They laughed at me wanting you
Said, it would be hello, goodbye
But oh, you came through
Now they’re eating humble pie
They all said, we’d never get together
Darling, let’s take a bow
For ho, ho, ho
Who’s got the last laugh?
Ho, ho, ho
Who’s got the last laugh?
Ho, ho, ho
Who’s got the last laugh now?

@ Brother Parvus:
They also laughed at Bozo the Clown, however. And now… they still do. ;]
I do hope we get a strip where Sandra has been getting messages from Larisa and has to explain Larisa’s absence to her parents.
FLY, YOU FOOL!!!
We told you not to mess with those humans, but did you listen?
You knew it all, didn’t you?
They’re just harmless, little humans, aren’t they?
Humans are the most foul, cruel and bad-tempered species you’ll ever lay eyes on.
They’re killers who’ll enjoy slowly and PAINFULLY erasing you, your family, your race and your whole culture and history from the annals of spacetime.
And after all of that, they’ll get really nasty.

Actually, they laughted when he said he can survive sailing west from Europe to Asia without his whole crew dying. “It’s too far, give up”. And they were right. If Columbus didn’t find America, he would die along his crew because they didn’t had nearly enough supplies for whole trip to Asia onboard.
The earliest documented mention of the concept of spherical Earth is from around the 5th century BC. Around 240 BC, Eratosthenes computed Earth circumference to be 252,000 stades. This figure is less than 15% from real value. Columbus READ that and decided to not believe it, favoring other authors who predicted it to be about third smaller.

And while sailing he kept two logs, one that said how far he thought he’d traveled and one that showed a greater distance. It was the one he showed the crew. As it turned out, it was the correct one.
Remember: it’s not paranoia if they are really out to get you.
@ Brandon Schubert:
Indeed, I was thinking that too@
@ Asrial:
I see it now, an extra-terrestrial explaining to another “One of their major religions worships a torture device. They call it Christianity, and they pray to it. They make what they call the Sign of the Cross All. The. Time. And you want to invade that planet?????”

Small problem.
People forget the cross was the sacrifice.
The victory came with the empty tomb.
Everyone has come to worship the sacrifice, not the victory.
I find that rather stupid.
@ Valkeiper2020:
…Still doesn’t want me to invade that planet.
Poor Grey! All your bases are belong to us!
Oh, so their culture looks like one of a corporate form: Exhibit any kind of weakness is akin to throwing blood into the water!
@ HKMaly:
Second Esdras, a quasi-apocryphal book of the Bible, says that God made the world 6/7ths land, which is obviously incorrect. But Columbus took the amount of land in Europe, Africa, and Asia- which was all known- and said that if only 1/7th of the Earth is water, then it’s a relatively short distance from the Azores to Japan. As it happens, he found America exactly where he thought Japan would be, which confirmed his calculations in his mind. But people knew how big the planet really was and figured things out quickly, although Columbus himself never accepted that.
@ Valkeiper2020:
Speaking as someone who worships neither (but lives within walking distance to both), I guess it’s hard to focus on an empty space. Two straight lines is a nice neat thing. It’s the same reason Judaism and Islam chose their most common symbols.
