- Zoey: Boooo! You suck worse than a leaf blower!
- Sandra: Zoey! Don’t insult our applicants!
- Larisa: Yes, leave that to me! Booooooo! You suck more than a Rolls Royce Trent 972-x42 turbofan!
- Sandra: But, to be fair, not as much as a General Electric GE90-115B.

Wait, is that first one IG-88’s head?
You *suck* worse than a leaf*blower*, Zoey?
@ MaxArt:
She is right, a leaf blower sucks at sucking!
Yeah, they don’t need your cheap insults. They have the free insults of Larissa.
And i continue thinking this only could be make it for members.
That is a remarkably specific level of suckage.
Aside from sucking, jet engines also squeeze, bang and blow. I wonder if the unfortunate guitarist is equally adept at those activities.
@ MaxArt:
To be fair, a leaf blower does have to suck in the air it blows out
Very Fair…
So what are we talking about here? A lower model in the GE90 series? Trent XWB 84 or 97? Be more precise, dammit!
@ Mxax:
“Squeeze, Bang and blow”
It could be the name of a song..
@ MaxArt:
To be fair, leaf blowers ARE pretty bad at sucking, and she did say he sucks worse.
I’m amused that most people pick on the leaf-blower comparison, but only one even mentions the engines. 🙂
@ rpr:
Or the band.
Soo … isn´t that a good thing? A leaf BLOWER is not meant to suck, and if he sucks worse than an appliance that doesnt suck at all – that would mean he is good, right?
@ Cromm:
True. While a leaf blower does have to suck in the air it blows, it’s not designed to be practical at sucking, so you cannot use that suckiness practically.
Of course, by Zoe saying he sucks ‘worse’ than something not great at sucking means he does not suck very much.
Larissa does a much better job. While those engines are primarily designed to ‘blow’ or provide thrust, their ability to suck is well documented and feared.
It looks like Larissa may have got the Rolls Royce model number wrong but she seems to be alluding to the model of engine that had an “uncontained failure” on the Airbus A380:

The engine that Sandra references has has been involved in at least 2 incidents:

But that would imply that they’re not talking about air intake specs!
As a guitarist, I’d take it as a compliment if my sound were to be compared to a GE90-115B. Those go to eleven.
@ Cromm:
Well, actually, a leaf blower has to suck before it can blow
I see you got aviation jokes. Props.
