"Tag page" widget - Useful?

What do you think about the widget below the strip on the left side of the page which lets you bookmark a particular strip? Is this a useful function or should it be removed to make the page less cluttered?

Since I have gotten no feedback here and almost no other webcomic website powered by ComicPress uses the feature, I have removed it several days ago.
