According to the web site statistics (http://www.sandraandwoo.com/images/misc/visitor-chart-2013.png), you’ve got almost 20.000 spectators yourself, and the numbers have been somewhat steadily rising! If the growth continues in roughly the same rate as before, you should have 60.000 fans in, uh…. 10 years.
…that is, unless the “Butterfly The Amazing Raccoon” spinoff siphons away your viewership.

Given it’s Beech Valley, if Sandra positioned herself on the other side with a pair of binoculars, she may still get a decent view without getting in the way of the raccoons…
If she can purloin an extra few pairs, they could all (Sandra, Richard – since if it’s not within easy walking distance they’ll have to be driven there, Woo, and possibly even Lily if Woo can persuade her that a handful of scary humans may be less nerve-wracking than 50-60,000 other raccoons…) watch from the other side of the valley in relative space and comfort, as opposed to down in the stalls (valley bottom).
On an unrelated note, Novil has a new vote up, which allows me to comment on an old, irritating strip. There is NO SUCH THING as the “next step” of evolution of anything! Evolution is not directional: there is no target, just a wholly unmotivated and unconcious optimisation process. All contemporary forms of life are the latest stage of evolution; our chimp-like ancestor is the human-like ancestor of chimpanzees.

Snapping a pencil with your fingers is actually not all that hard. With some crappy pencils, it can actually be quite easy! That said, no splinters would be impressive.
Sandra’s unflappable face is absolutely the best.

With those numbers one wonders if the raccoons viewing this event are internet friendly? Woo figured it out fairly quickly near the beginning after all.
