Main characters

Ilias Oter

Ilias Oter is the main character of the story. He is a student at the “Academy for Arcane Studies and Material Arts of Cania” which is located near Aracona, the capital city of Cania. Like Ryn and Lilith he is one of the students with less well-off parents who earned a scholarship on the Academy for excellent performances.

Lilith Caillean

Lilith “Lili” Caillean is the love interest of Ilias. Unfortunately (for Ilias), she is already together with Sandril. Lilith is an extremely talented wizard and the dream girl of many men. But everything comes at a price, and sometimes that price is very high…

Ryn Gwalch

Ryn Gwalch is the best friend of Ilias. Ryn is somewhat chaotic, so he’s always grateful when Ilias reminds him of the ultra-important document he was supposed to deliver or other such things.

Alissa Itoriel

Alissa Itoriel is Lilith’s best friend. The Itoriels are a wealthy merchant family, so most of her relatives were not really happy when she decided to join the Academy to learn, among other things, archery. But if someone tells Alissa that she can’t do “X”, she’ll do everything to show that women in general and she in particular can indeed do “X”.

Sandril Saretro

Sandril Saretro is the son of one of the richest and most influental noblemen of Cania. However, Sandril’s relationship with his father is… complicated, to say it in a positive manner. Sandril is very confident about his fighting skills, and pretty much about anything else about him as well.
