The current story arc started with this strip: A Trip to the Forest.
- Sid: Please, don’t eat me!
- Woo: Why not? Squirrels are delicious.
- Sid: Just look at me! I’m nothing but skin and bones!
- Woo: One small bite for a lion; one giant meal for a raccoon.
- Sid: But… but… you’re new in this part of the woods, right? Set me free and I’ll show you all the great places around here!
- Woo: That sounds like a good offer. But why should I trust you? If I let you go, you’d run off for sure.
- Sid: I swear I’m telling the truth! Or the Shadow shall catch and devour me!
- Woo: Eh? What’s that supposed to mean?
Wow, I can’t believe I net-stumbled on this so early in it’s creation. Hell of a lot of potential in this. Great strip so far, keep it going.

Hmm…this is an…interesting creature. The art is great, some of the best I’ve seen in this particular genere of comics. The script’s are nice and natural feeling when read with just a nice hint of surealism. I’ll be keeping an eye on this. Don’t dissapoint me.
Oh, joy, a red fox IINM!
This comic reminds me of Aesop’s “The Mouse & The Lion” (http://www.longlongtimeago.com/llta_fables_lionmouse.html) for some reason…
awww, the squirrel is so cute. X3
like the squirrel, but what’s the thing standing behind Woo? is it a ferret or something?
Same question, here. Perhaps, another squirrel??? Senior version? *shrugs*
to me it looks a bit like a fox… too small for a wolf… might pass as a ferret… i still stick to fox… yip yip!
It is a red fox.
Wait, raccoons eat squirrels? Woah, learn something new.
hay cool i happen to be a red fox to. =D
Oh! Sweat, a fox! Every forest as gotta have a fox!
This is like HOUSEPETS! all over again! XD
*got reference to ‘the shadow* It’s a good thing that german works of great quality are translated…
I would like to suggest another tag be added to this. namely “neil armstrong”.
I am making this request because I have reason to believe that this strip has a reference to that man.
@ Michael A. L.:
This blends in quite well with what Neil Armstrong said when he landed on the moon in the summer of 1969.
Mebbe… maybe it’s a ferret fox. Do those exist? *Googles.*@ Michael A. L.:
Who knows what fear lies in the hearts of Eurasian red squirrels?
The Shadow!

Why do you have to go and make it sound strange?
A squirrel is a squirrel.
I dunno about where you come from, but here, the red squirrels used to be considered the “default squirrel”. You say “squirrel” and that is the first thing a Brit thinks of.
O’course since the greys took over, that idea is fading away. Shame really. Red squirrels are so much nicer (grey squirrels are vicious little psychopaths).
You say a squirrel is a squirrel, but I have to agree with Woo here. A squirrel is delicious.
