- Tibor: She’s my daughter.

Uh… Lily just ate! A couple of comic strips back. I guess she’s not hungry now.

I did catch a friendly warning to Woo as well in the fourth panel.
If you are trying to figure out the mating habits of the characters here you have to ask one big question, Is Novil sticking to the textbook behaviors of the animals here? I dont think so because yo have animals working together that would never do that. So will any of the characters behave in a predictable natural way?
Does he know how his friends behave around Lily?
And was that a star wars reference?

Soooo, TIbor tells Woo to stay away from the ladies, then later saves his life, and now here he is again. I can’t tell if he’s a friend or foe.
I like Tibor’s expression in the second panel. 🙂 He’s really messing with Woo, and enjoying it.
Tiber seems to have taken a liking to the city-slicker and showed his approval. Que date montage with an 80’s love ballad and we have our self a couple. Maybe they should go on a play date with Sandra and Cloud.

As with others, I’ve wondered how Woo and Lily’s relationship will be: Whether it’d be a romantic monogamous relationship like most storybook relationships, or an open one like it is for natural raccoons.

Total paw in mouth moment for Woo. It’s a good thing Tibor has a sense of humour about it; you don’t want to upset the local alpha like that.
Also, I can’t help but wonder what “cheating” means to a species that isn’t typically monogamous. It typically means going behind the back of a partner, and doesn’t usually apply to open or poly relationships, for example.

me too, brother and fathers are same in terms of defensive behaviour, but i realised her brother wpuld have been bit younger, and wont call woo a “young one”
