I tried to color the water gun pink like some objects are colored in the comic Sin City which was the main inspiration of this page (you can’t really call it a strip…). I think it was a good idea, but it just did not look good.
Also don’t miss the next strip on Thursday. It will make some things more clear.
- Ye Thuza: THE GAME IS UP, MR. WILLIAMS!!
- Ye Thuza: WHAT THE…
- Ye Thuza: You’ve learned much…
- Ye Thuza: … but not yet enough.
AND NOW IT’S TIME…
- Ye Thuza: … TO MEET YOUR MAKER!
- Cloud: Dad’s back home from his business trip?
- Ye Thuza: Yep. And he has brought you a nice present.

Heh, only Daisuke’s mom used potentially lethal force and never attacked him directly.
Me’thinks Ye Thuza never quite recovered from growing up in a war zone. At least she keeps it fairly light-hearted instead of making Cloud think everyone is out to get him.
Hey… you are good making fight scenes
Well, I guess the main reason for the pink to not look good, is that the comic itself uses to little black. If you look at sin city (it doesn’t matter if film or comic) it uses mostly shadows and only a few white highlights, so that the color sticks out much better… although it might also be the usage of blood-red instead of pink. XD
@ Ashley:
I’m 2 years late with it, but I was about to make the exact same comment, lol.
Parenthood : She is doing it right.
While a gun is essential if you want to reach out any distance, within about 10 feet I’ll take the sword any day.
