The current story arc started with this strip: Proof of Love.
Sandra and Woo updates three times this week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Cloud: I like Sandra, but she’s kinda… pushy sometimes.
- Theo: She’s just insecure, Sherlock.
- Cloud: Insecure?
- Theo: Yeah. You see, she r-e-a-l-l-y likes you. But you’re a total chick magnet. And she’s not super pretty. Now put two and two together, Einstein.
- Benjamin: Either that or she’ll turn into a crazy stalker who chops off your feet with an axe just for thinking of another girl!
- Cloud: You’re always such a big help, Benny.
- Benjamin: You laugh. But it’s the second most likely alternative! The second most likely!

Good job on showing the new characters personality. Theo and Benny can add some interesting gags and developments to the world of Sandra and Woo.
Good, but is it me or does there seem to be a jump in the conversation between the 2nd and 3rd panel?

Theo… you’re somewhat of a jerk. I wonder if you’re right though. Sandra didn’t break down when Larisa was flirting with him (she cried, but she was not overly dramatic about it) so I say that she is strong, which puts a hole in your theory. Hah hah, axe stalker :).
Benny is my favorite character now.
In the entire comic, he’s just that awesome.
In unrelated news, I’m kinda surprised at the poll currently how many new readers there are.. the second most common thing is people reading for 2 weeks or less! (I was here within the first month)

I see no disconnect between panels 2 and 3. Theo suggests one theory, Benjamin suggests an alternative..
I dunno, Sandra doesn’t really strike me as the axe type. If she were to snap, I think she’d probably gravitate more towards BLUNT objects than sharp ones.
Not that I’d every expect her to show us, mind you.

So of the two girls cloud has been involved with, a date with one may result in second degree burns, and the other might cut his feet off with an axe when he thinks of another girl.

The crazy stalker and feet with axe cutting part really reminds me of “Higurashi”.

You did a great job of displaying the new characters’ personalities with this one. I also like Cloud’s expression in the 3rd panel and Benny’s, “…the second most likely!” comment in the last.

@ MeI skunk: the reason there are more poll answers at 2 weeks or less are because people tend to answer the poll when they arrive earlier. That and with the ads (nice work by the way because I would’ve never known of this awesome comic without them) more people are becoming fans within the period of a few weeks just by clicking on the link and seeing for themselves.
I think we all had a friend like Benny. You know, the kind of kid that watches too many thriller movies and blurs that line between reality and movies. :3

All three completely miss the obvious answer. They are such kids. Oh wait, they *are* kids.
(The obvious answer being that Sandra is not just Cloud’s girlfriend, but a full person with her own hopes, dreams and feelings. Sandra did not act on her jealousy when Cloud and Larisa flirted because she knew that. Larisa dumped Cloud because she knew Cloud and Sandra liked each other. Only Cloud didn’t get the memo. The statement about Todo also holds for Cloud: he’s a hero, but he sure isn’t a romantic hero)

Just so long as they don’t play Gerald’s Game. No one is ever going to turn that into a movie. No good actress would be willing to have a lonely, frightening S&M monologue. An actress should not provide too many gratuitous nude shots per film, and people are sick of fillms that are over dependent on flashbacks, which is the only way to make it watchable at all.
Is it just me, or is chopping his feet off with an axe a rather specific prediction?
