Have you already seen the following two blog posts that I posted last weekend?
- Larisa: Landon, do you think my new skirt is too sexy?
- Landon: Glurk
- Larisa: Thomas, do you like my new belly button piercing?
- Thomas: Sprotz
- Larisa: Boys for Beginners, lesson 3: Deep down inside they are all the same.
- Sandra: Whenever I’m around you, I learn more than I wanted to know.

Larisa is becoming very dangerous.
I guess man of the the crowd going “aren’t they too young?” grew up in a school where the kids were tamer?
Then again, I remember back how back when I was maybe 12, kids not even past 14 were talking about like they knew all about drinking. Some even smoked. But I’m still thinking the whole drinking stuff was just a load of bollocks.
Though I had sort of a crush on a girl back then… And she was 3 years older than me. I know, its weird…
So, the comic might not be that far fetched, some of us just had their childish innocence longer?
I don’t think its so much that some schools are tamer than others, more that how aware we were of these naughty things as kids. If you happened to be in the click that was doing the flirting, drinking, or smoking or friends with anyone in that group, you would sympathize with the boys in this strip =3 If you were one of the good kids (or had no friends?) you might be oblivious to these things happening.
But I believe these events are common to all schools, as kids basically want the same things =]
And yes, if a cute girl in my class did something like that to me, I would’ve lost coherency in my speech instantly.
having 16 year old and 12 year old daughters all I can say is that this is true. Too many of my younger daughters freinds think they are sexy and it’s a little worrisome. There are too many “creeps” out there that take advantage of this. One of my older daughters classmates has a 35 yr old boyfreind. Scary
(To understand “where I’m coming from”, in the following: I turned 12 in 1956, and I looked “normal”, since I wore the clothes my mother bought me, but really had no attachment to my classmates’ “middle class values”.)
“It’s fun to think what we would say now, if we were 11 or 12.” True! But I wasn’t really into girls then and my answers would probably have been “No, it’s nice.” and “Yeah, that’s cool.”
Of course now I would answer those same questions “It’s OK. A bit shorter would be better.” and (while leaning down to look REALLY close) “Yeah, that’s cool!”
I wasn’t that bad… I should remember 4 years ago…. I’m horrible now though *sighs* AND LARISSA’S MOM LET HER GET HER BELLYBUTTON PIERCED!!! Yeesh so not fair… I’m 15 AND I CAN’T GET MY TOUNGE PIERCED DX!
On another note She does look cute in that skirt!
I think Larissa likes making the boys blush.
Larissa: “Do you think my new skirt is too sexy?”
RTC: “That’s for the school dress code to decide.”
Larissa: “Do you like my new navel piercing?”
RTC: “My uncle once got rabies vaccine shots through the navel after a squirrel bit him.”
Larisa is showing the number three after saying “lesson 3” with her thumb, index finger and middle finger. I noticed this because I watched the movie Inglorious Basterds (SPOILER: when they are in the beer cellar the British officer orders three whiskeys showing index finger, middle finger and ring finger; this is the prove for the Nazi officer that they are traitors because a “real” German would have showed three with thumb, index finger and middle finger).
I don’t know what the “official” American or Russian way is to show three. Is this just a coincidence or did you have something in mind when choosing the way she shows the number three? 🙂
“I bet she will be shocked when that doesn’t work :3”
I hope this will serve her right. ^^
Michael, Americans almost always use index, middle, and ring fingers for three. The thumb is the 5th one in our finger counting. Index, middle, ring, pinky, then thumb. 🙂
It would be so funny if there was a strip were Sandra out-hotted Lis!!
Thanks Kevin! I almost thought that the Americans do it the “Anglo-Saxon” way 🙂
I must say… it is somewhat disturbing to see my name in print, applied to a character who is only slightly more geeky than I was in school. =D
My form of reaction to girls is to look at them and form strong friendships. Unfortunately, the one I tried to advance to into “I like like you” quickly soured.(I’m only 16.)
You can use subdomains and they can and can function. If you can and you locate you possess a great plan hitting it would be much better to buy a area and really put most effort into marketing to your new domain.
Before this one, I thought that Larissa is kinda the bad girl who tends to watch Saw and Porn on one evening.
Since this one, I doubt her to eben still be a virgin….
I shudder to think of what will happen when she’s 18
@ voice_of_reason:
And what if they are eleven? Hormones are starting to carbonate like mad, bodies are starting to change, and while some kids mature faster than others, physically and/or mentally, many of them are on their way towards adolescence, many (if not all) are at least vividly aware of the opposite sex (or their own, depending). There are certainly kids experimenting sexually at that age – regardless of whether or not you approve of it, it happens.
Maybe this has been said. What is going to happen when some boy decides to take Larissa up on her teasing? Yes, I know they are elementary age, but if she can act like this, so can the boys. And no, I am not saying she is “Asking for it” I am saying if you don’t want a buyer, don’t advertise a product.
seems a tad young for a belly button piercing

Must have been wild in the German equivalent of primary school. >_<;;
Maybe this is just on account of my being British… but there is a certain ingrained horror at the notion of children that age engaging in such activities.
Or maybe it is just me. I was like 16 when I officially started… and then finished… and picked it up again when I was 19… and I'd rather not get into it.
I look almost exactly like Landon…
I know she’s only twelve, but Jesus her legs are skinny! They don’t look any bigger than her arms!
Never been a fan of piercings either, for that matter.
I dunno Larisa, glurk and sprotz are two very different words.
This strip is kinda sexist.
Everywhere Larissa goes Rasputin should play in the background and special effect explosions should play in the backgrounds.
¨Sprotz¨?
