- Mother: Whew, rockers like that always give me the creeps.
Wouldn’t want to meet them in a dark alley.
- Mother: Ah, there’s the hotel.
- Mother: Mia, wake up, dear! We’ve —
- Mother: — arrived!
Powree gets a bonus point for using a Smart for this comic. You know, basically the one and only car in the Western world without a backseat. 😀
I think I can see where this is going, but I think I’ll keep shtum so as not to spoil it if I’m right.
Fact: good mothers always leave their children unattended in cars and then don’t check to see if they’re still there when they return.
Nice, now I wanna see what could happen in just one page… WHY is it just Wednesday and not Friday already? XD
@ The Amazing Shea: Ouch, good point. XD
@ Novil: Maybe it was custom made to have a backseat? :3
What car is that? Looks like a Tata Nano to me…
Oh, nice strip, by the way!
X3
@ Novil:
I see what you did there ^^
@ Novil:
THat’s not a smart car. it’s a citroen c3.
Great Comic 🙂
Maybe the new prototype: Flat front as the smart fortwo, but with a backseat?
<3 the fortwo, great for finding parking lots 🙂
You all fail. It’s a Mitsubishi “i”, or a litigation-avoiding close copy of one.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_i
Or possibly a cross between that and a Toyota iQ
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_iQ
… it seems to both be not much larger than a smart (like the iQ) but also has 5 doors (like the i) and the styling is a mash between them 😉
(and i mean failing in the nicest possible way, of course)
ps lex, wouldn’t it be a C1 (/ Pug 107 / Toyota Aygo) at that size?
Perhaps it’s the “Smart-for-Four”? In the USA, we only have the two-seat model available, but there is a 4-seater in Europe.@ Novil:
Since the final part is due to update in a few hours, I think I’ll put forward my theory as to how this is gonna play out. I’m fully expecting the bikers to return the child to the motel, having asked the clerk if he knew where the mother was going.
I was raised by a single mother who had previously been a biker herself. Since the village we lived in was tiny, every biker knew every other biker and their children. As such my siblings and I were trained during childhood to find a biker whenever we were lost. As a child I was trained to trust bikers more than the police.
True story.
That right there? That is absolutely THE most terrifying thought for any parent ever.
More a question rather then a comment but looking at the pillow and blanket it looks like Mia was lying lengthwise on the seat sleeping, makes sense for napping but not exactly safe, then cartoon physics!
Only just found your comic and been going up too here over the last two days!
